LOL...you got me...they got there horrible schedule because they finished 2nd in their division.

Sorry, but did you not just say this:

stillwright;80891]well us going 8 -8 had nothing to do with it.

So did it have anything to do with it or not? The fact is that the 8-8 season had EVERYTHING with them not playing Den or NE. So I don't know what you are arguing about.

Yep...as I said you got me...I personally think their 8 - 8 record had little to do with there strength of schedule though...more of it had to do with what divisions they were matched up this season to play.

Big jump from NYJ/KC to NE/DEN in my opinion.

Then again, maybe not, considering we were beaten soundly by the Jets.

Again...I think our weak schedule had less to do with our 8 and 8 record...it had some say in it,but with the division we were matched up to this season played a bigger part of our weak schedule. No?

On the NFC side, definitely. But what I'm saying is that, by finishing second last year, we drew KC/NYJ instead of NE/DEN.

8-8 was part of it but luck of the draw was the other. Playing the NFC south was a gift. Either way their schedule this year has been a huge advantage.

The most frustrating part of the season is that we'd be an absolute playoff lock today had we beaten one of the three bad teams that beat us.

Goes both ways. We also beat 6 teams that are still fighting for the playoffs. I didn't include the Browns.

I can't include the NFC South garbage. Yes, they're fighting for the playoffs, but the Panthers and Falcons are a combined 9-16-1.

I see three quality wins: IND, BAL, and a mediocre HOU team. But only one of those will be in the playoffs.

What credit do you give the Cincy win last week?

Only one will be in the playoffs? I see two playoff teams, Indy and Balt will both be in.

Last I saw, we beat the Falcons today. That goddamn Tombert even ***** up a good 8-8 season with a win. Damn him.

And if we win our division, we'd play the division winners next season ... Problem with that is what? I mean, the incessant complaining and whining ******* consistently say we play DOWN to our opponent, and are agreeable that we at least play UP to our "harder games" ... Despite the parity of the league.

Revisionist history has nothing to do with how ****** the teams end up being. Besides, the Falcons were 4-12 last year and every analyst I saw/heard/read predicted the Panthers to slide big-time.
But what he's talking about is the fact that you play the same-ranked teams in your own conference. This year we drew the Jets and Chiefs; if we win the division, then next year that becomes the Patriots and Colts.

Are these the same analysts you claim don't really know football when others bring them up, or some more super awesome ones only you are privy to? Either it's alright to take what an analyst says and utilize it, or it isn't. Right? Is this where you tell us you never said that analysts don't know anything?

When we lose to the jets, bucs, raiders.... Gimme that first place schedule

That brother on the sidelines at the end of the game huddling with Ben and Haley during the time out before they ran the play action to seal the game was Tomlin, right? He was actively participating on film in the discussion, so is it safe to say he may have had input to run that play? It may not have been him though, he was missing those cool *** shades you boys love to talk about so much. I know, Atlanta sucks, so the win shouldn't really mean anything.

I'm with you 100% on that one. It's a joke when they lose to garbage *** teams.

Penalties are down big time...Cutting them down and the TO's works wonders for the win column.

What a total bunch of unmitigated ****. Someone quick tell me the score of the bungles game in 2001?... anybody? The Steelers lost in O.T. 26-23. Kitna threw the ball 63 times but only completed 35 for 411 yards. That defense was #3 in points and #1 in yards. They had a bad game that they lost BY 3 ******* POINTS. The bungles didn't even score 27 points on that defense. This is the problem with people talking out of their ***.

Now compare that one "horrible" game in 2001 where the Steelers lost in O.T. by 3 points and gave up a ton of yards but very few points to this years defense who gave up 27 points in regulation to Tampa Bay with Gannon at QB. Yea, Kitna is ******* horrible but Gannon is clear pro-bowler right? Or how about when this great defense gave up 31 points to the clowns the very next week along with 368 yards of total offense? Hell they gave up 408 yards to the bungles this year. The only difference is that the Steelers won the game and scored 42 points. Remember last year against NE? Brady was 22 of 33 for 432 yards 4 TD and 0 ints. But Yea, that 2001 team was ******* horrible... He hasn't seen the wholesale inability to stop the pass? Then WTF has he been watching?

BTW the 2012 Dallas game is almost identical to the 2001 bungles game. The Steelers lost 27-24. Romo is 30 of 42 for 341 yards 2 TDs 0 Ints. Which is much better than Kitna played in 2001.

How the hell do you know all that **** ?

That frustrates everyone.

Some of the very same. I don't give a **** about their opinions, but his statement that NOBODY expected it was way off.

Look at Pissypants today! LOL

But obvious you do...you used them to refute his post.
