Time flys, week 11 and it's ravens week.

WoW, 7 - 2 and sitting atop the AFC North. Tell me how many here thought this was going to be the case at this stage of the schedule?
We signed 2 guys about two weeks ago, they are paying immediate dividends. I'm pretty sure Highsmith will be out for a while, but not sure if Smith or Herbig will get the nod. Both have strengths, but I think Smith is the stronger run-setter of the two. Maybe a combination of the two, keeping in mind Action Jackson will need outside containment and lane discipline from all our guys. DangRUSS, will need to exploit that last place ranked pass defense. He can do that, but we will need to establish some run against the #1 rush defensive front. I think we can as our OL is relatively healthy and Jones might just have picked it up a notch. OUR all-pro OC / play caller is the best we've seen here in a long time. I think he will be in Haley's shadow before to long.

The Rat's defensive front is very good and we best bring our A-game against them. Action Jackson historically has been held in check by us, but we need to focus on taking away his first read, and then not fall for his RPO style fakes.

Old School, but hilarious

Update:
This happened around 1995 + or - . My then wife and I got FREE tickets through Federated of Pittsburgh, to see ravens at PITT. She worked at local bank that did big business with them. Flew out a few days early as she had several seminars to attend. Federated had a big Banquate and we attended. I wore slacks and a button up shirt, got there and everyone was in formal (tuxedos / dresses). Wife fit in but me and this other guy didn't. He left but I didn't and felt comfortable visiting along the way. The Big boss of federated found out I knew In Floor heating and quizzed me heavily, me giving sound advice and detail. In moving around the room I ran into this group of guys and took up conversation. This one guy kept alluding to my attire and asked me rude questions, such as couldn't I afford a suit or why am I even there. About that time the CEO came up and asked me by name, how I was doing? I said fine, but he took it further and actually made that particular gentleman get me a beer and apologize to me. I let him off the hook by saying he was just a young man that is inexperienced so no worries.
----- Next day went to game, tailgated and it was amazing how many people like the Budweiser Pony beers I brought (2-cases gone in 30 minutes). We walked all over and sucked in the Pittsburgh air. In passing there were some ravens fans and this one in particular kid was drunk as hell. He was giving everyone sheeet and obnoxiously bad. Threw snowballs and tried starting stuff, but he seemed harmless because he was smaller dude.
----- While headed into TRS I went by this one vender guy, I saw this really cool OLD metal STEELERS airplane, he wanted $35.00. I said that was way to much and he asked how much I'd pay. I said $5.00 and he said if it was still here after game, he'd sell it for that. I B-lined it there after game and yes, bought for $5.00. Continued to walk around parking lot and enjoying the PITTSBURGH air. We came upon the small / drunk / sassy dude and he was hung up on a fence post by his underwear and passed out. Looked like his friends were trying to help him. I still wished I'd gotten a picture of that.
----- I got Kordell / Norm Johnson / Dan Rooney autographs and Kordell was very nice and made it a point to come across the street to give me mine. I lived a long ways away and once he heard me shout I came from __________ to watch him play, he immediately had security get him over to me and spoke for a couple minutes while signing. He was sacked 5 times that game and still managed to win. I couldn't get Levon Kirkland to sign even though I happened to be wearing his jersey. I wore Jack Lambert jersey at game but switched after game ( didn't want to get Jack's jersey dirty.
----- Overall, It was a super great trip, I still wonder to this day about the underwear hanging kid. I truly wished I'd gotten a pic of that as it still remains one of the most funny and Iconic scenes in my life. Yes he was wearing a rats jersey and it was just surreal. I've been to several games there in PITTSBURGH and have had many a great memory. Perhaps more stories to come.

How about letting me know some STEELERS memorabilia you might have. Anything special to you. I've got tonnes in my attic.

Thanks for reading my story and may clean underwear FORCE be with you.

Thank You slash for your generosity and thanks to who all participate.

Our offensive line will win or lose this game.

You may be right, but it isn’t our OL that tackles Henry or the other RB Jackson. I think both units (trenches) are going to have their hands full but will come out ahead on the scoreboard.

Add in that we have very good OLBs that can hold the edge.
