Week 7 Other games

Watson gets $4M monthly through 2026 no matter what happens...possibly worry contract in history of pro sports

If it's his Achilles, will he put the effort into rehab? Doubt it

If they cut him tomorrow its a 201 million dollar cap hit

If they cut him after tge season its a 173 million dollar cap hit

They can cut him post june 1st and divide some of that 172 million over two seasons

They can trade him, but they still take a 90 million cap hit next year
But to trade him its gonna cost cleveland like 3 1sts to get rid of him

Im watching Lions / Vikes but seems like Mason is doing well today after scanning the play by play

We'll see what Wilson does tonight, but Rudolph might very well be better than what the Steelers have at the QB position right now.

He's a different QB now, as the happy feet in the pocket are gone.

Depending on what he goes on to do with the Titans, the Steelers might regret moving on from him.

We've seen how other QBs around the league have improved with time and experience.

The Ripple you see on his calf is the achillies rupturing... it might not be a total tear, cause that usually turns into a ball of muscle rolling up in the leg and the bottom looking like a bone with skin on it.. but he is likely done for the season or longer

No trade clause
Cutting him isn't an option, insurance covers the team if he's injured

Are you saying Rudolph is better than fields or Wilson

Insurance covers tge pay out, but not the cap hit...

The idea was that he waives his no trade to get traded to a team with cap space who then cuts him. He still gets paid and can sign elsewhere to try to resurrect his career

But this injury complicates everything

I am considering starting a thread about other games today

What?!?!?! C'mon bro...
What's so crazy about it?

The offense looked better with Rudolph last year than it has with Fields this year.

Rudolph probably looked better in those four games than Fields has in any four game stretch in his career

Fields just hasn't been that good. I'm not really sure what people are watching.

with fields its he is young he has "only" played 3.5 yrs so far.....With Pickett it was he is old and should be much better after 1.5 yrs even w/ Canada. There is a massive double standard. Fields has more natural talent, but that does not equate to being a good QB. I just dont get the bias against pickett considering what he was stuck w/ on offense.

What flips as easily? Their offense? They are just hitting their stride. And in my opinion will be right at the top of offense in the league. I totally disagree with you.
It has nothing to do with how good they are on O.. Its no different than last year... they are hyper aggressive... it works most of the time, but when it doesnt they end up with a bunch of turnovers and few points... they played chicago and dropped 31 on em in the first game... tried the same stuff the second and scored 13

Id bet they go for it on 4th down more than anyone else... they have a philosophy on O and thet don't really adjust it.. they just attack and make Ds adjust to them

Watching Eagles / Giants. Barkey is going to kiss 200 yds rushing.

Im trying to figure out why Winston is the Browns 3rd QB. Surely he is better than DTR and you could also say he is better than Watson at this point.

Kenny Pickett in for the Eagles. Cleanup time.

They definitely go for it on 4th down…..he hasn’t been a head coach for long. Experience might curb the adjustment factor. He might rein it in a touch. For right now he’s been a breath of fresh air for Detroit fans, exactly what they needed.
They believe they can outscore any opposition on any given Sunday. Losing Hutchison would be like us losing TJ. That will hurt them.
We will see at the end of the season. I’m sure a Lion’s fan will take this type of offense rather than finishing in the bottom 3 year in,year out.
