It's also been all over Twitter. He is approaching and surpassing Bill Cosby numbers. Does anyone know if the Browns can void his contract for any reason? I hope not.

If any of these accusations are true, I dont see how it doesnt qualify as sexual assault. Just exposing yourself can get you on the sex offender list and if the accusations are true Watson did much more. If John Doe had 24 people accusing him I dont see any way it doesnt go to a trial. Part of me wants to see Cleveland really get burned for being so stupid, but on the other hand I would hate to see a guy like Watson get paid so much.
Yes and no from what I’ve read. If the “new” claim is the reason for his suspension the. That could give them an out, as they knew of the other folks prior to said contract.
I would guess DW would sue if he was cut and they went after is fully guaranteed $$$. Either way popcorn time for da **** stains yet again.
They will beg Baker to play and if I was was him I would be happy to tell them to **** off.

Regardless if the Browns have to pay him, they won’t get those draft picks back…. To be honest Goodell should null the whole trade then penalize the Browns by vacating all those picks exchanged for trying to circumvent the fine system for Watson

Sure there is a chance they are false, but do you think an ordinary guy would stand a chance against 24 women in court? 24 are suing and some who are not part of the lawsuit made similar claims. If it was a known rub and tug joint then the workers know what to expect. If they do not like that then they should quit and turn the owners in. If you are expecting to give a legit massage and the guy is trying to force things on you that is a different story. Hopefully the truth will come out.

I think Baker has 18 or 19 mil at stake, would you tell them to **** off with that kind of money.? Just curious.....
I don't like the Browns anymore than you or anyone else here but there is a contingency (from what I read somewhere) that Baker could be liable for behavior detrimental to the team. No play / No pay

Baker for sure would play his *** off as he is looking for a new contract for new suitors. In The process he can always give the middle finger to the browns organization and throw them under the bus at every chance he gets

A. if the Browns did their due diligence and asked Watson about other things and he lied to them, then they probably have a legal out… same if that clown show running Houston purposefully covered up the severity and scope of the situation to sell them a fraudulent trade…
But even then The Browns are far from blameless, the set up a contract to circumvent league discipline and may have shortcutted the investigation into his issues to just get the trade done… whatever happens here is should make a lasting impression for future dumb****ery

I saw yesterday the Texans organization, among other people, will be brought into the civil suit per the attorney. Rog may not be able to make a decision on his suspension by the beginning of the season.
oh, he could. easily. he's choosing not to.
when they made the trade, there were already 22 accusations.
no way any legit FO would have pulled the trigger on that deal. Yeah, the Clowns could say that they were lied to, in order to get out of contractual obligations, but at the same time, 2 more accusations on top of the 22 known likely wouldn't have swayed their FO from making that trade.

Totally agree.
I find it EXTREMELY odd that Sir Watson isn't on the "commissioner's exempt list". Pot smokers get there easily but Cum-shot clowns must have to really work at it and I mean more than just the "tug"

So I am checking out the Browns boards over this … it’s comical meltdowns on all of them … a few things…
1 the funniest comment to date was about the Browns “ doing their homework on him” statement… someone aptly pointed out that people get F’s on homework all the time
2. There are 24 current cases and another one pending… there were 66 different masseuses he used in the known timeframe… the lawyer has said that it was the tip of the iceberg… they expect a lot more accusations before the end of it
3. The best case scenario is he was just a huge perv… the worse is he did stuff that rises to sexual assault… he legitimately may not play again
4. The Browns probably have outs on the contract with what’s coming to light if they try to void it now… im not sure about the trade itself though … you’d have to think they knew he was getting suspended by the way they set the contract up…
5.( my opinion) There is no way the Browns should get out of every thing scot free… they made some horrible mistakes and at best should be docked several draft picks if the trade were nullified…

A couple of hours ago The Browns doubled down on Watson, stating that there was no intention of seeking to nullify the trade or contract… they are sticking with him

Browns are ******. The $230M contract is FULLY GUARANTEED! They can't get out of it. They lost 3 firsts a 3rd, 4th, and 3rd over this year and the next 2 years.
Baker is also not playing, and doesn't have to because his $18M 5th year option is ALSO fully guaranteed. He sat out OTAs, and was given an "excused absence' from mandatory minicamp. He will never play another down in CLE
Time to see if Dobbs can beat out Brisket for the staring QB job there!
