2016-2017 Pens----Still with 100% more Kessel

Pens Inside Scoop ✔ @PensInsideScoop
Crosby WILL play tonight. Nothing wrong with Murray and Ruhwedel, whom did not skate, per Sullivan #pens -SK

Crosby should be resting. Porter and the WBS guys are looking decent. It was pretty cool to see Kessel finally score against Toronto --- finally. Phil Kessel. Toronto did you dirty

I like the Pens working on the small attention to detail aspect of their game. But I think Coach Sullivan says it best is to simplify the game. I guess you cannot tame a wild horse like the Pens lol

Boy for all the amount of shots the Pens are getting off they're sure making the most of them. Of course good ole NHL network has me blocked for the HD version so I'm stuck being stat man replay guy again.

You got blocked out? I've had that problem a few occassions with nhln too :/

Pens lost it 5-3. Oh well, not a bad showing by a team consisting of half the WBS Pens. Given Toronto had everything to play for. I think they'll face an early exit. Pens would smoke them in the playoffs. I wanted the win more for Kessel than any. But no biggie

Yeah direct tv wants me to buy more **** to get the hd version. What a pain in the ***. I liked the old giant satellite dishes you could just get anything. I'd rather just get the local Pittsburgh feed for the Steelers &Penguins and forget all of the garbage I don't want...haha.. oh well..next!

The game was on the NHL channel - I watched, so of course they lost

Leafs gutted them in last 10 minutes

Bring up the entire W-B team for tonight. Rent a bus an don't ship them out.

Looks like a lot of WBS guys are playing tonight. No Sid or Malkin which is good

The Bonino led WBS Penguins vs the Rags
-Tristan Jarry had an amazing save. However has looked rather rookie-ish. Other than that. Pretty entertaining period.
Like to see the younger guys get a chance to play. They are fast

Despite a loss, I thought the Pens played pretty well.
-Three Amigos---Rowney/Wilson/Archibald bring it every game and are turning into quite the line.
- Tristan Jarry---The kid looks to be a top notch goalie in the making. I was impressed by his ability to shut down opposing players shots.
He gives up shots when screened out. He'll learn to move around at the nhl level.
-Maatta---Good to see him back. His skating improved throughout the game. Still a bit rusty. But expected
-Jean Sebastian Dea---Gonna be an nhl'er next season. Kid can be another Bryan Rust

Bring on the playoffs! Good season. 2016-2017 is now done

Leafs blow 2-0 lead to Columbus - get the honor of facing the Caps with the loss

Boston thanks you, I guess

The Leafs fans are so damn cocky. They will shut up pretty quickly when WASH sweeps them. Gonna be ugly. I'm excited/nervous about the CBJ series. I do think the Pens can beat them, but it will go to a hard seven game series. The team that moves on with be bruised and battered to take on the Craps.

Leafs lost a couple guys last night. The Craps will take care of them. I'm not worried about the bj's at all. More worried about the goon style. But Pens in 5 is my prediction

Thank god the Pen's Version of Mortal Combat is finally over....Going to take forever for Wednesday to get here. Hopefully Geno plays and shakes off the rust pretty quick.

Lets get this show on the road!

Loaf fans are pathetically predictable. You should easily get even money bets on the series with them now. Easy money.

I'm feeling slightly more confident they can win - Pens in 7.

Anyone else slightly concerned about Murray's status, considering Jarry hasn't been sent down?

Murray has looked slow getting up after freezing pucks on occasion, I've been a bit worried about him since march, when he started looking sluggish. Pens can and should win. Cbj is a good team, but a goon team

Pens need to get through the first round quickly and not lose more people. If it goes to 7 I don't think they can advance very far. They need some rest.

IF the Pens get out of the first round, I don't see them beating the Caps this year. The Caps are different this year. They are better than last year. Sadly, the Pens are not.

I will say this. If the Caps can't win it this year with THAT team, it is never gonna happen. Might as well fold the franchise. That team is stacked top to bottom, left to right. And they have depth.

If the Pens don't win it all, then I am hoping Calgary somehow wins it. I like watching them play. Fast fun team to watch.

He's alive!

sadly, you are correct about WASH. They are gonna be like a buzz saw through the PO. I doubt they lose more an 1-2 games per series. They are too powerful and it's their year. I don't see how they don't win it, unless they lose Ovie and Holtby to injury.

Wes Crosby @OtherNHLCrosby
Sullivan says there's a "real chance" Hagelin could play in this series. He's day to day. #Pens

Dave Molinari @MolinariPG
Sullivan says Matt Murray is "fine" and "ready to go"
