AB accused of Rape (update dipshit released by pats)

I just hope he doesn’t end up on the ******* Browns. Could you imagine him and Old Dirty ******* on the field at the same time? It would take a lot of DBs just dedicated to those two nutsacks.

He's done at least for this year. No team will pick him up knowing his issues aren't resolved.

Do you really think any team wants his drama on the sideline after the Patriots with a murderer and an owner frequenting sex slave shops cut him?

Sorry but it wasn’t hard to see he was a douche. From locker room vids, throwing furniture off balconies, sideline tantrums it’s just steeler fans ignored and fell for the fake smile. Once again there were people like savran that started years ago it was the most immature team he’s ever been around.

Don't forget the 100 mph in a 45 episode......

Tomlin did the best he could with the players he had, a bunch of egomaniac, superstar prima donnas. It's a minor miracle he was able to hold it together as long as he did, and win as many games as he did with this crew. All water under the bridge at this point. My point is, Tomlin has his faults and is far from perfect, but I don't think we appreciate him for the things he does do well. Not that I expect that to change with the amount of hardcore Tomlin haters on the board. But who cares, I don't. As long as he's the coach I wish him well, and there are those that don't. We're not here to massage Tomlin's ego. He's got to do better, and the Steelers have to do better. AB, Bryant & Bell are in the rearview mirror. We lost Shazier, and now we've lost Ben. None of that is on Tomlin. Time to move on and see how this next gen version of the Steelers unfolds, starting tomorrow. Go Steelers!

Absolutely. You can ***** all you want about Tomlin tinkering w the defense, screwing up challenges, not winning playoff games or enough SB's, but he deserves all the credit in the world for keeping AB in line for years(!) He kept **** quiet and in-house, allowing AB to develop into a top-level player in the game. Tomlin succeeded where Gruden and Belichik failed miserably. Maybe that's why they call Tomlin a great coach in some quarters. He's got the skills and personality to deal with these ego-driven, bat-**** crazy players, and be tight-lipped while doing so. He never once threw AB or Bell or Martavis under the bus. Kept things close to the vest, then just turned the page and moved on when it was over. Tomlin doesn't get nearly enough credit for being a stand-up dude and a class act.

Or,...maybe AB's persona flourished and grew to what it is now because CMT didn't do **** about early on. Perhaps he could have nipped it in the bud, but didn't.

I don't get all the Tomlin praise for basically covering for a guy that was ruining the atmosphere and chemistry of the locker room. Why is that a good thing? It still got out. We still knew some of it. But that genius Tomlin was willing to let AB run roughshod over the entire organization and keep most of it from the fans.. yea, that's a great characteristic to have in a HC.

Ryan Clark put AB on blast in March for being a piece of **** as a rookie. James Harrison on NFL Network brought up Clark's comments and said that AB has always been like this, but he managed to cover it up for awhile.

Tomlin did the best he could, for as long as he could, to keep together an offensive juggernaut and try to lead the team to the promised land. If that meant bending the rules a little, using jedi mind tricks, whatever, so be it. Turns out Bell & Brown's ego was simply too big to care. It was always all about them, never about the team. Can't fault Tomlin for trying, and largely succeeding keeping that core intact - and lighting up the field - for several years. You wanna gripe about Tomlin babying AB, then you also must fault him for babying Ben. It all goes hand in hand. In the end, it all blew up in their face, and that dynamic core is now a thing of the past. If anything, you could blame the Steelers FO for not trading away Bell & Brown years ago, like they did with Martavius. In the end, nobody is to blame for AB & Bell petering out with us. That's all on them as individuals.

I think that was his point. He's been like this for a long time and Tomlin let it infect the team. He allowed AB to do what he wanted especially after he got his big contract. I don't see why that is a good thing? Everyone calls AB a cancer. So is cancer something you want to cover up for years? Or do you want it removed?

I keep reading all this stuff about all the ways AB was "mishandled".

He's a grown *** man. What can they do besides benching him, fining him, trading him, cutting him which have all been done. The man is completely out of control and it's nobody's fault but his own. He's been given many chances because of his immense talent but went ahead and blew them all.

Yes, it all blew up in their face. Which is usually what happens when people try to cover up things. Bell and AB are to blame for how they acted. Tomlin is to blame for letting them infect the team with their BS. The Steelers are known for drafting WRs. They've had great WRs for years. They could have stocked up on players, moved up to get other players ETC.. if they trade these malcontents years ago. But no. Tomlin keeps tapping it down and covering it up. Now he's wasted years of a HOF QBs career and years of everyone's time because he wanted to play psychiatrist. Great.

Still not sure why all this blame of Brown's action fall on the Steelers. He did nothing but start trouble when he got to Oakland.. The league should be the one that fingers are pointing at. Started with the helmet, then the big thing was threatening an officer of a organization, the GM. This was not a players scuffle on the field was a threat. Was like the NFL ignored this, this snow balled into letting Brown wanting gone and yet another team picked him up which also the finger should be pointed. It took not all the earlier action but the harassing for the Pats to let him go. Now you listen to the league office and once again the finger should be pointed to them as now they have all this info after ten hour interview and Brown's harassing and bulling this other girl. The Steelers name should be far removed from any conversation of Brown.

Wonder how James Harrison feels about that IG live with Brown right now?

He's been this way for years. He is a child. But it isn't his fault that Tomlin gave him the platform. He could have been traded for multiple draft picks.

Oh come on. Before all this came to light there is no way someone trades one of the best receivers in the NFL over some minor temper tantrums. You would have been screaming bloody murder had that happened. After it came to light he became a risk.

First off you don't know everything that was done. It was more than temper tantrums from what we already know and we don't know all of it. He was skipping practice, throwing furniture off buildings ETC... Tomlin knew it was a distraction. He knew AB was a cancer. And he let it go on for years. I blame AB for being a moron and I blame Tomlin for letting AB be a moron on the team.

Oh. Tomlin needs to worry about the chemistry of the team not what fans on a message board think. Even if I didn't like the trade, because I don't know everything that is going on he should still do what's best for the team.

Yay! Tomlin is good at covering up ****. That's great. So is Belicheck. It didn't lead to a SB victory, so what's your point?

We dodged a huge bullet with Brown this year now that we are without Ben . Can you imagine a buttoned down Rudolph who is not a gunslinger doing the right thing and letting the defense dictate his reads not spoon feeding Brown the ball like Ben did ? talk about a cancer and a meltdown epidemic ?

Could?

Was.

He could have been traded years ago for better higher draft picks and the plus is that he isn't a cancer on the team the past few years because he wouldn't be here. Everyone wants to ***** about how bad AB has been over the years but obviously have no problem with Tomlin covering for him and allowing him to be a cancer on the team.

From observation-this started long before that team MVP BS.

The barely held & last piece of tape that was holding the Steelers locker room drama together—Ben snapped—after the debacle that the refs cost the Steelers season last year.

It all fell apart after that

Soon as the Steelers gave this little ****** his first big contract, remember the money Wallace turned down, he changed for the worse.
Going from the shy and quiet kid to yelling at Dick Lebeau at training camp. That’s when it started and continued to build.

I don't see why Tomlin is at fault for ABs stupidity. I don't care really even if he is somehow.

But Tomlin Is to blame for the ****** planning and lack of preparation, without a doubt. He had a load of talent and a big enough window to win at least one SB with them, instead his teams always underachieved, badly. I mean huge names like Ben, Brown, Bell, Shazier, heyward, DeCastro , Pouncey, Juju all in the same roster and wasted

Belicheat would have ***-raped him in the playoffs anyway, but the fact is that Shades only got to the AFCCG once since 2011, that would be in 2016 when he lost to, ta-dah, the Pats****** 36-17.

I will note that back when we got to 3 SB's in 6 years, for one reason or another we never had to face the Pats****** in the playoffs.
