This just broke about 2 hours ago at 350 degrees.....mmmmm.mmmm I smell peach pie!

Okay, but you do realize that everyone except the Democrat Kool-Aid drinkers knows this was an excuse cooked up by the Hildebeast campaign?
Nevermind, you probably don't.

The investigation never stopped so this means little. Just a waste of money.

Ok Elfie same question to you as to the other Libs, Will you accept the results of this even if it doesn't go the way you want it to? I want you on the record here.If they say no crime or conspiracy then do you say your sorry and move on?

Personally I doubt it.

One of my closest friends had to call out for the Bachelor party for our college friend (who is a Coast Guard officer). My friend works in intelligence. He's not allowed to discuss what he does, but he's missing one of his closest friends Bachelor party to deal with a matter of severe importance. I have no idea what it is, and if he does his job well, I never will, but something big is going down in the next couple days.

Just a little back story on intelligence for you. His father worked at the Pentagon and now is an intelligence consultant. Intelligence departments HATE politics, and both love speaking at length about this. Intelligence agencies deal with facts, to get to the truth, and they deliver. Their information is not false, because in intelligence, unlike politics, when you lie, you're out of a job at best, and in jail at worst.

Have liberals considered the possibility that an investigation into Russia may end up snagging the Clintons and Podesta who both were paid lots of money by Russia whereas Trump's ties to Russia seem to only be that he has visited there and he once said Putin was a better leader than Obama.

Meh it needs to happen just to shut everyone up on both sides... hopefully the lot of them all go down on both sides but we know how this plays out in modern times... nothing comes of it and the opposite side makes a mountain out of a molehill while everyone ignores the juciest stuff cause it would damnboth parties

So be it, wherever the facts of the case lead the investigators that's where it should go, regardless of who gets caught up in it. A much greater concern is how mother Russia is going to react to American investigators digging into the oligarchs, the international money-laundering and illicit activities as it relates to Trump's businesses and investments around the world. Putin will not sit by idly as the facts bear out.

...whereas Trump's ties to Russia seem to only be that he has visited there and he once said Putin was a better leader than Obama.
If you believe that, it's a true testament to how clueless most of you are, or you're willfully ignoring the vast amount of information that's come out these past six months or so.

The only thing they're concerned about in that party is getting back into control at whatever cost. The whole Russian thing is just a distraction and has been from the get go. Deligitimize the administration in the eyes of the public so they can obstruct with reckless abandon without fear of voter retaliation.

Not a chance.
BTW, Quinn reporting this morning that Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Left Coast, has $200k of her retirement funds invested in Russian companies.

Better also finally investigate the obvious connection between the Clinton's and the Russian's. If not, then this truly is a witch hunt.

This is going to be a very interesting investigation, and can end up going in a lot of different directions. And it may end up with a lot more unexpected surprises caught up in the net.

This is my prediction:

The investigation by the Idependent council will turn up nothing on Trump but will find that Seth Rich was the source of the Wikileaks materials. This and the fact that he was mysteriously murdered will be ignored. There will be no investigation into the Hillary emails or fraud at the Clinton Foundation because that's how the deep state establishment wants it. The big club is in panic mode over trumps election and they can't figure out how to control him completely and they don't dare remove him for fear of touching off CW2.

that's not very funny or comical.

If Trump ends up convicted of Treason, how many plan to go to the hanging?

Fixed it for ya...

This is quite a change from "nothing there, no evidence, fake news". Just sayin...

Special Prosecutor For Trump/Russia Investigation Is A Disaster

The Trump Administration may never recover from the decision of Deputy Attorney General Rob Rosenstein to cave into Democratic pressure and appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the totally fictitious “scandal” of Trump’s relationship with Putin.

The prosecutor, hired to investigate something that never happened, will not report Trump’s innocence. Special prosecutors never do. They justify their own existence, importance, budget, and staff by finding something to prosecute. Usually the “crime” they end up going after is one that his own investigation has created.

Remember the Valerie Plame affair? After years of work the special prosecutor found that no crime had occurred. The person who leaked her link to the CIA was authorized to do so. With no crime to come up with, Patrick Fitzgerald, the prosecutor, indicted poor Scooter Libby, an aide to VP Dick Cheney, for perjury, a crime that would never have taken place had there been no investigation.

That’s how special prosecutors work.

In the meantime, they hobble the president, drain away his political credibility, separate him from his supporters, and paralyze his administration. No legislator is willing to lend his support for fear of what the prosecutor might find. Each one will run for cover rather than work with Trump to get something done.

In appointing a prosecutor, Rosenstein has killed this Administration’s ability to function. No health care overhaul. No tax cuts. No government reform. All while we await the results of a nothing investigation into a nothing scandal.

And did Mr. Rosenstein get vested with this power to destroy? The Democrats sidelined Jeff Sessions, the Attorney General for doing his job as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and meeting with the Russian ambassador. He was forced to recuse himself when he said he knew of no instance of a Trump campaign official or aide meeting with the Russians. Of course, Sessions was no campaign aide but a Senator doing his job.

Mueller is a fair man and perhaps he will resist the temptation to look under rocks that aren’t there in search of scandal that never happened. Let us pray.

The Special Counsel Mistake
Rosenstein bends to political pressure, and here we go again.

Democrats and their media allies finally got their man. After weeks of political pressure, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein blinked late Wednesday and announced that he has named a special counsel to investigate Russian attempts to influence the 2016 presidential election. These expeditions rarely end well for anyone, and Democrats are hoping this one will bedevil the Trump Administration for the next four years.

“My decision is not a finding that crimes have been committed or that any prosecution is warranted,” said Mr. Rosenstein, which is nice but irrelevant. With Attorney General Jeff Sessions recused from the Russia probe, Mr. Rosenstein appointed former FBI director Robert Mueller III, who will now have unlimited time and resources to investigate more or less anything and anyone he wants.

While the decision will provide some short-term political relief, not least for Mr. Rosenstein, it also opens up years of political risk to the Trump Administration with no guarantee that the public will end up with any better understanding of what really happened.

The problem with special counsels, as we’ve learned time and again, is that they are by definition all but politically unaccountable. While technically Mr. Rosenstein could fire Mr. Mueller if he goes too far, the manner of his appointment and the subject he’s investigating make him de facto untouchable even if he becomes an abusive Javert like Patrick Fitzgerald during the George W. Bush Administration.

What the country really needs is a full accounting of how the Russians tried to influence the election and whether any Americans assisted them. That is fundamentally a counterintelligence investigation, but Mr. Mueller will be under pressure to bring criminal indictments of some kind to justify his existence. He’ll also no doubt bring on young attorneys who will savor the opportunity to make their reputation on such a high-profile investigation.

Mr. Mueller has experience in counterintelligence and at 72 years old has nothing to prove. But he is also a long-time Washington player close to the FBI whose director was recently fired, and he is highly attuned to the political winds. As they say in Washington, lawyer up.

Well I'm glad to hear it. Now the whiner nation can find something else that is not right in their universe.

Please list the things that have "come out" about Trump and Russia.

It's going to be funny when the only election fraud they find came from the Democrats.
