The whole FBI and CIA need to be cleaned out from the top to the bottom. If it takes 10 years for them to relearn their ******* jobs, so be it. The institutions are corrupted to the core. It's not just one or two bad apples. It's an entire culture of thinking they are not only ABOVE the law, they ARE the law and selectively pick how to enforce it. How this doesn't make even every liberal here shaken to their bones is beyond me. The shear volume of "leaks" to the media is reprehensible. If they are willing to trade "favors" from journalists for classified information, what's to stop them from trading "favors" from who knows who for information? Everyone here knows the answer to that one....I'm starting to think like JFK. Maybe we don't ******* need an FBI at all. Just let the ******* states do it. At least then there will be some checks and balances between state DOJ's and DA's and investigators to hopefully keep them on the straight and narrow. As it stands right now, I see no ability to oversee the FBI and CIA at all. Hell, we already know they THREATEN Congress when asked to explain their actions or turn over information. Who's really in charge of making sure they follow the law?

So many here are going to crash and burn as Trump and his team go down in flames. For some, like deljzc, the sting will be that much more painful as they went from holding relatively reasonable, conservative views to becoming full-throttle Trump apologists in a short amount of time. It's really been sad to see the transformation of some long-time posters on this board. The lunatic fringe deserve all the pain and suffering coming their way, but for the few of you that were actually halfway normal before this presidency, it really will take a while to confront your denial & shame for selling out like you have. Oh well, you made your own beds, you have nobody to blame but yourselves. Life choices, I guess.

Well, Paul Manafort is off to jail.

More likely there will be more autistic rheeeeeing from you Neo-Socialists as the only evidence of criminality on the part of political candidates shows up on the Hildebeast.

LOL

trump on:
– manafort: "nothing to do with my campaign"
– bannon: "nothing to do with me or my presidency"
– papadopoulus: "low-level volunteer"
– page: "don’t think i ever met him"
– cohen: Did "tiny little fraction" of my legal work
– sater: "wouldn't know what he looked like"

Trump's lies and deceits will come back to bite him in the *** like a malnourished, angry rottweiler. For Trump and his supporters, it's all piling-up in a big, stinking heap of horseshit. For those of us objective enough to correctly read the tea leaves, we smelled that stench from a hundred miles away. What happens next with Manafort & Cohen will lay bare the facts for all to see. For the feeble-minded that swallowed Trump's persistent lies, the fall-out will take years to digest and overcome. The sooner you start confronting and accepting the reality of the matter the less painful the process will be.

I think you're a good dude Tibs, but you are anything but objective when it comes to Trump.

LOL

Please produce one shroud of anything at ll one bit that shows any connection to Trump. THese people might be guilty of crimes but at this point none of them show any criminal link whatsoever to Trump and all of it is likely thrown out given the revelations of corruption at the highest level of this investigation. Any judge worth his salt would laugh this case out of court based on the IG report of corruption tainting this case. Hell even the guy who plead guilty is now rethinking that plea based on all the new evidence of corruption and wrongdoing by the investigating team. Trump is not going down for this. Stop the horse is just pink slime now it has been beat so much.

There's no swamp to drain right Libs? That ****** is even more foul and murky than anyone even suspected. Holy ****. Tibs, your damage control is far too little too late. Trump looks more correct on just about everything by the day and the left and the government swamp looks more corrupt by the day. Just like Trump always said from the beginning.

I can't speak for everyone here, but I have become more and more protective of this President because of the corruption and attacks he is facing on a daily basis......from the criminal Washington swamp, both Democrat and Republican. as well as a Pravda lefty media. It makes me want to clutch my guns and bibles even tighter. And I watch President Trump's approval ratings going up every week, so I dare to say I am not alone in my sentiments. And I am not tired of winning yet, and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Based on what, exactly? Shocking to hear a military veteran such as yourself see good in a Socialist/Globalist that so openly hates this country you vowed to defend, and actively did.

Too each his own.

There are times when Tibs has sounded level headed and made real points. On the football side he is a good guy. Recently he has been off the rails but I sometimes think that is a product of A. how we react to him and B. Living in a place where the only news he gets is filtered through liberal lense and he is not really seeing what is going on here. He is not Elfie.

Butting in, but out of curiosity, is it any American citizen who doesn't agree with trump, doesn't support him, doesn't believe him, and sees no good in him whatsoever someone who hates America or just ones that live abroad that you consider to be a socialist/globalist? This is just an honest question.

It’s all of them. But Tibs is extra special. Special needs, that is.

Oh ok, thanks for answering. That's how I feel about trump supporters, hating America and everyone in it except themselves that is, you know, how you feel about us. So yeah, it's a 2-way street then.

So, a quick checklist. Since you hate Trump and his supporters that means you also hate:

Lower taxes
Stronger military
Better veteran benefits
Fair trade
Thriving economy
Very low unemployment
Respect for our flag
Denuclearized North Korea
Kicking ISIS’ ***
Secure borders
Winning

Not exactly a show of love for America, is it?

Tibs has been here for as long as I have which is a long *** time. He always held similar political positions, but he was a lot more level headed before he contracted Trump Derangement Syndrome. I still think he's a good guy though. I have fun discussing it here but when I'm not on the internet I DO NOT discuss politics with anyone in my personal life, besides my wife. Never have. There's no point in it because nobody on either side who is set in their thinking is ever going to be swayed by an opposing argument. All that will result will be pointless arguing and fracture relationships. Why start a feud with friends or family for no reason other than wanting to be right? My Mom and half my family are feuding on Facebook about 8 months out of every year. They are all opinionated and always need to be right so they are always pissing each other off. Always seemed stupid to me.

To try to answer each one to the best of my ability.

1. Lower taxes for the wealthy do nothing for me except anxious await for the payback that will come from the deficit.
2. I never knew our military not to be strong. I'm sure my dad, a WWII vet, would agree with that assessment.
3. Better veteran benefits are as important as they always have been and am glad they're gonna get what they deserve.
4. When I see fair trade, I'll let you know.
5. Economies thrive off and on, or so I've been told right on this board. As you know I've seen my thriving economy come...and go. When the salaries improve with the economy, I'll rethink that.
6. Again, seen low unemployment before. Happy to see it again.
7. I've never disrespect the flag myself, and I don't consider kneeling disrespectful. What Roseanne did, yes, disrespectful. I do, however, consider a man using that as talking points when I'm not convinced he's not treasonous. When I see proof of that, I'll revisit it.
8. When denuclearization happens with NK, which I have huge doubts will, I'll get back to you.
9. ISIS is still very much alive and well, unfortunately.
10. Borders are no more secure now than they were before. Have you looked at the latest numbers?
11. Have won in the past, but now I feel like I'm a part of trump's new reality show...the biggest loser, so when winning starts, I'll be ready for it.

And yes, I can't stand trump. I can't stand him for the con he is/always has been (trump university/charities, so on), I can't stand his habitual and continuous lies, his bullying, his name calling, his rhetoric, his undermining of anyone not him, his corruption (come on, you know he is/always has been), his blatant disrespect of our allies and continuous praise of dictators (come on, Kim a good guy...LOL), reverberating conspiracy theories, oh the list goes on. No, this is not the America I love at all. It wouldn't be the America my dad fought for and am glad he's not here to see it. I won't ever understand the mind set of those who can support him so I don't try. I hope I've touched on all your points.

It was a feeble effort, but at least you tried.

I cannot understand for the life of me why Libs are pretending to be shocked that Trump said something positive about Kim Jong Un the day of their summit meeting. It's called NEGOTIATING. You don't make a framework agreement with a volatile maniac and then go to the press and say, "Yeah he's a piece of ****". Which is EXACTLY what the corrupt *** media wants him to do. They would love nothing more than to see the deal go into the toilet before it even gets going just to spite Trump, regardless if it would be terrible for America.

I question the intelligence of people who cannot see why he isn't insulting KJU right now. I really do. Not that I really believe people don't understand...I know it's more pointless whining but still....it seems very dumb. If Trump knows nothing else, he knows how to work a deal. If he's blowing smoke up his *** to get what the country needs, so the **** what? The media is scared to death he'll win the noble peace prize so they want to sabotage it in any way possible.

Excellent, mic drop post, 83fan. It baffles me too why many on this board have a hard time comprehending how much of the country - and yes, the world - see right through this disgraceful snake oil salesman. But no, anyone who opposes King Drumpf is immediately labeled a socialist who hates their country. It's pathetic. Decency will be soon restored to our great nation, that I am sure of. Just have to get rid of the anti-American scoundrel currently occupying the WH and the short-sighted, power-hungry GOP that enables him.

More than anything, my shock and disdain is with Christians who support his persistently anti-Christian policies and behavior. These are the Trump supporters who really should be ashamed of themselves. On a larger scale, it's unconscionable how anyone who loves and cares for this country, its laws and democratic principles can continue to support this doofus. My guess is a lot of people will be singing a different tune once all is said and done.

In the meantime, Indy, Spike, delzjc, Tim Steelersfan and others will continue to kneel and solemnly bow their heads to their beloved, wanna-be dictator who's taking his cue from Russia and N. Korea. Willing subjects of a narcissistic despot. Take a knee gentlemen, take a knee.

Trump says he wants Americans to treat him like Kim Jong Un

“Hey, he’s the head of a country, and I mean, he’s the strong head — don’t let anyone think anything different,” Trump said. “He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same.”

Either that or he's in the middle of a negotiation that might literally have the entire world in the balance. Ya know that whole nuclear weapons thing. C'mon Tibs you're no dummy, so don't pretend to be one. He's showing bogus respect in order to make the deal. It's called business. You guys all understand this, you just can't admit anything good coming out of it. Just like the media.

Sorry man, it's way past that at this point. He unilaterally gave up military exercises w S. Korea, kissed the guy's *** in front of the whole world and got zilch in return. The text of this so-called agreement is basically regurgitated from similar agreements N. Korea has signed a dozen times over the decades. No offense, but stop projecting what you'd like to see into these situations. Maybe it will give you some clarity of what is actually happening. You can still support your president and be a patriot while applying a minimum amount of critical thinking and caution. What has been going on with Trump should give every American some pause.

Or, you can continue to roll with Spike's Trump Train memes and glorious proclamations of never-ending victories. You know, like how it's done under totalitarian regimes.

Wow, perspectives do certainly differ on different sides of the isle. Almost everything Trump has done I have been waiting to see a President do most of my adult life. There is really nothing in life I despise more than a politician or a member of the media. I absolutely have zero respect for either group because they are corrupt and despicable in every way. It's also the first time in my life I don't feel like the American people are at the mercy of both. It's a fantastic and liberating feeling really.

Exercises lol. Yeah cause we can’t “go full tilt” if **** flies off soon. **** sake.

Don’t worry tibs, the Wolf’s are still prowling in the deep right off their coast.
