Lots of Tomlin venom tonight ....perhaps deserved....but where's Ben's venom...or.does he become exempt ?.......how was his performance ? First half....second half.....missing wide open receivers....

As bad as our.defense has played we have needed him to be spectacular..... the last 6 quarters he's given absolutely ****....and he's still holding the ball too.long.....

Pile on Tomlin, but save a lil for Haley and Ben.....underachieving. Disappointing. Nonspectacular .

Yes, ben sucked *** too, no doubt about it

The shot he took on the 1st series rocked his world, great hit by the Rat player.

Upshaw cleaned his clock and he didn't seem the same...how could he be.

Big Ben doesn't play defense though.

As I have said Ben isn't a hof qb he can't carry a team to save his life. Never has never will can't get the team into the playoffs unless defense is top 5 in points allowed. The o coordinators change but the one thing that stays the same is the fact that we don't score. He a nice qb who can manage a game but not carry a team. He's also lost his clutchness and takes so am y sacks that takes us out of Fg range that it's rediculous

If Ben plays like the Top QB we say he is we have a ball game. There wasnt any doubt who the best QB on the field was last nite. We knew the defense needed time. Ben is suppose to carry the offensive. Ben missed at least three passes last night that are game changers. Ben has to step up the first time he goes on a Brady Manning Brees Rogers like roll will be the first time since the 2005 playoff run.

Bad throws, taking sacks in crucial situations - vintage Big Dummy.

I'm sure it was all someone else's fault he had a bad game, though.

Ben seemed to have happy feet after the Upshaw shot. The OL was shady, but he did miss some open receivers. Brown and Heath's fumbles didn't help his cause. Play calling sucked, defense sucked, performance sucked all around except for a handful that actually did make the trip to Bmore last night. The last six quarters of Steeler football is and should be quite alarming.

Ben can't carry a team and isn't HOF material. Whatever! He took the ball last week with less than a minute and lead the team to the victory. Guess that doesn't count.

He was illegally hit in the first series and may have been somewhat injured the rest of the game. The Rat player took an unabated shot at Ben. He launched at Ben with the crown of his helmet in an attempt to obviously take him out. It was an easy flag and should be an easy fine this week by Rog.

Why we didn't go no huddle is the big question. We should have started the game with it. We should have utilized it to start the 2nd half. We should have utilized it when we went down 17-6. Yet, when down 17-6 and a little over a quarter to play, they call a run of the mill run up the middle. That is what's disturbing about the O. Everyone knows our D is going to give up points. We MUST score 30 points (give or take) a game to truly have a chance.

Every week we need him every week. That wasnt a penalty either. Only in Roger's bizarro world of football. I didnt hear anything abouy a injury. Every week Ben has to be the best QB on the field. He wasnt last nite. Wasnt close. The offense is built around him. Shotgun majority of the time. He cant leave throws on the field. We must score points until this defense gets it together which may not be this year.

He missed a wide open Justin Brown. After that I'd fail to see where he was so bad. I'm not saying he played lights out, but the playcalling was terrible. There was no rhythm and they were constantly in third and long.

From what I counted there were at least 6 trips into Raven territory and only 6 points to show for it. A couple of TD's changes the whole game around. Nuff said.

Yeah the same Flacco who has managed to out play Ben the last couple of years. He missed Heath too. I expect better out of our best player. Those throws are potential game changers.

I don't know if Flacco is overrated, but he plays well enough that he keeps his mistakes down and is consistent.

How did Brady do at carrying his team last week? How about Rodgers? Brady has never won a super bowl without a highly rated defense. Ben had a bad game, but there were also two fumbles, on at Baltimores 15, several wrong routes, and a few drops, he was under a ton of pressure. Another week where we move the ball in the first half(198 yards) then come out in the 2nd and do nothing.
We also had a rookie as our #3, and weaton making his 2nd start.

Marcus Gilbert letting him get pummeled comes to mind as a "CONTRIBUTING" factor. But, only a contributing one. It's football and it's up to Ben to pick himself up of the turf and perform. But damn that Gilbert is a sack of ****.

Yeah, nothing is ever ol' Bennie's fault, - on or off the field.

Wheaton shouldn't even be mentioned in the terms of people associated with this cluster ****. He and Bell were the only ones on offense who seemed ready to play at a consistent level.
