He had chest pain, saying blocked arteries, will have surgery to put stents in.

Isnt that what they call a heart attack in normal people? News wont call it that.

Liz will get his crowds if he drops out, Biden could be finished

Sucks but all their top candidates are in their 70s. They drag a 16 yr. old around to promote their BS and all their candidates take Geritol.

I agree it is looking like Pocahontas by default now.

Not sure what I make of a Trump vs. Warren showdown at this point or how I would even handicap it. I'm not quite as confident as some here that the constant, biased, propaganda, possibly illegal attacks on Trump by the news media and now a Democrat-led House with the power of investigations (however absurd) isn't undermining his vote-getting ability.

If anything, I could see a backlash against the CONSTANT news coverage of politics. I think the American people (me included) are just getting tired of it. We have literally been engaged almost 24-7 in the news cycle since about the beginning of 2016. Everything is Trump. And if it's not Trump its about enemies of Trump.

Warren will not naturally engage minorities in this country. If they don't turn out to vote because of over saturation by the news media (and I certainly see that as a possibility), then it becomes a very close race. Will Trump voters show up again? Will the economy hold up to the global push downwards Socialist Europe and Propped-up China are having on it?

Warren is a slick talker. She is distancing herself from Congress (who people just hate). She is tapping into a growing resentment against the super wealthy and the tech industry. Her "plans" don't matter, only that her message of tearing down capitalism because of its excess and corruption is what the country needs. Trump represents those excesses and corruption which puts the fight squarely on the "Greed is Good" vs. "Socialism" fight. And Trump isn't exactly the best person to fight that fight with his big mouth and aggressive tone.

Trump vs. Warren will be a different fight than Trump vs. Clinton.

Breaking news, Hillary wont endorse any candidate, leading to rumors she could be considering a run herself

Agreed. Every ******* day, dimwit cows bleating on and on about Trump and Russia, Trump and Ukraine, stealing the election, blah-dee-******* blah.

Washington is obsessed with every anti-Trump leak, or rumor, or comment, but 90% of America does not give a flying **** about any of that. They just DON'T.

Warren is not going to get anywhere near the support among African-American voters that Biden gets, due to Biden's affiliation with Obama. History tells us that she will very likely get at least 90% of the African-American vote, but if the turnout is tempered because voters just don't care, she suffers, particularly in contested states like Ohio, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, all of which have enough African-American votes to matter.

Clips of Hillary's grueling training schedule in case she needs to come out of the bullpen and rescue the (D)ims:

Warren wants to destroy big corporations. Wall Street and the banks will flock to vote for Trump. Even the commies at facebook hate her. Bezos and his hordes of employees will vote for Trump so she doesn't break up Amazon. She cut her own throat early on. I'm rooting for her to get the nomination over everyone else. And as far as lack of voter interest, not on Trump's side. We are more stoked than ever. Watch the rally next week in Minneapolis. He's going to a libtard stronghold and his support will be tremendous. I'm more confident that he's going to win in a landslide now than I was in 2016.

If Trump wins Minnesota, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin, the (D)ims lose the White House yet again and are mortally wounded.

If Trump oversees the Repubs re-take the House, the (D)ims are finished as a party.

Warren gets 'dramatic shift' in support from black voters

One element of Elizabeth Warren’s surge in the polls is likely to strike fear in her top Democratic rivals — her rising support among African-Americans. After struggling to win over black voters in the early stages of the primary, the Massachusetts senator appears to be gaining ground with a demographic that will play a pivotal role in determining the nomination.

A Quinnipiac University national poll last week showed Warren winning 19% of the African-American vote — a nine-point jump over the poll’s August results. In the latest Morning Consult poll, released Wednesday, she’s up by five percentage points with black voters since August...“It’s certainly a dramatic shift that had to be noticed by the Biden campaign — and also Sanders, Harris and Buttigieg,” said Tim Malloy, Qunnipiac’s polling analyst. “Other [candidates] aren’t moving. And if they are, it’s in the wrong direction.

Will the doctors even allow Bernie to take the stage?

12 candidates qualify for October Democratic debate

Twelve candidates will share the stage during the fourth Democratic presidential debate this month, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) announced on Wednesday, making it the most crowded single-night debate to date.

To qualify for the debate, the candidates had to amass the support of 130,000 unique donors and register at least 2 percent in four DNC-approved polls by Oct. 1. The debate is set to take place on Oct. 15 at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio, just north of Columbus.

Among the 12 candidates to make the cut: former Vice President Joe Biden; Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.); Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.); Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.); South Bend, Ind. Mayor Pete Buttigieg; Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.); Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.); former Rep. Beto O’Rourke (D-Texas); former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Julián Castro; former tech executive Andrew Yang; billionaire philanthropist Tom Steyer; and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii).

Biden and Warren will stand next to each other at center stage for the second debate in a row, according to CNN and The New York Times, the two media organizations hosting the fourth debate.

aren't stents plastic tubes, generally one-time use?

no one needs more than one stent.

I been through this with family but I don't recall all details. My experience is anecdotal. I don't claim any medical expertise.

they are like little tubes or springs used to open a plugged artery. Yes, they are generally a one time use but if he has multiple blockages, he might need multiple stents. It is possible this was a heart attack, but it may not have been a full blockage which wouldn't be a heart attack I don't think. He could be back on his feet pretty darn quick depending on if it was a heart attack and how much cardiac muscle damage occurred. Ultimately, it is going to come down to his ejection fraction numbers...basically how efficiently his heart pumps blood.

I'm not convinced "big money" buys Presidencies. Does it buy Congress? Yes. But you could argue the "big money" and "corporate money" has had little to no success in Presidential runs since W. Bush in 2000.

Maybe big money got to Obama in his second term but even then he was just an idiot figurehead on his apology tour for most of that time anyway. He didn't do **** except promote the ACA and pat himself on the back for 1% growth.

The fact corporate money doesn't like Warren doesn't mean they are going to throw millions in the Trump campaign. They might just "sit this out" and try to win over influence in Congress so that whoever wins, they have a roadblock to anything extreme happening. I mean, we ALL know every single ******* plan of Pocahontas doesn't have a CHANCE of happening. Her ideas are literally off the rails.

She'll executive order and memorandum some socialist ideas and maybe have some bloated piece of legislation with her name on it, but nothing is really going to change.

Trump has succeeded in what this country needed already. He stopped the ******* pendulum of European Socialism that Obama represented in its tracks for 4 years and moved the dial back towards the middle. He made America First, trade, patriotism and immigration legitimate issues that can win. Even if Pocahontas wins, those issues aren't going away. Republicans in Congress will fight for them because they are voting issues now. Their constituents demand Trump's position on a lot of these things now.

I want four more years of Trump just to ******* stick it to the media, liberal elitism, and the Washington Swamp AGAIN, but if it doesn't happen, I'm not going to whine in my beer.

I just can't wait to vote for Nikki Haley in 2024. She just has to articulate better all of Trump's positions in a "nicer way" and America will flock to her platform. If she can avoid temptation from big business and corporate interests at least somewhat, she's a shoe-in for the nomination in my opinion. She's just that likable and charismatic and has all the platform positions we pretty much want (as long as she avoids going full-bore southern Bible Belt crusader). She would wipe the floor with Warren head-to-head.

ah, yes. looked it up. stents look a lot like hand rails on AR-15s or springs. no one needs assault stents. and no one needs to live off the backs of poor Chinese children harvesting from a spring field.

Where are they? I don't see them in her crowds.

Where are they? I don't see them in her crowds.

Identifying as white people, it would seem.

And the fact that Warren has increased her support among African-Americans is a non-story, given how low her starting point was. She could improve that number by being photographed with Ralph Northam.

Warren is different from the others. She has a clear message and action plan. It sucks ***, but it is easy to understand and she is consistent. Boggles my mind how stupid America has become.

I think stents are put in once you reach 75% blockage. Chest pain could be due to high blockage, but not necessarily a heart attack. We had Chenney as VP and his heart was a ticking time bomb. I do think this may scare some voters off though

no one needs more than one stent.

My mother had stents put in 3 separate times. They are not an indication you've had a heart attack either. They are used to open blocked arteries, which could lead to a heart attack.

They are metal, not plastic.

Yes, you can need more than one stent. Some people, like my mother, have several. Sometimes, like my mother, after having been inserted, they move and need an adjunct. Or one stent doesn't properly open enough of the length of the artery and they put in more.
