Brian Williams: Cubans Would Rather Have Donkey Carts for Transportation

In reaction to Cuban dictator Fidel Castro’s death, MSNBC’s Brian Williams said the Cuban people would rather use donkey carts as transportation than the American cars from the 1950s that are still in use

If there is one thing that this election cycle taught me, is how the media is nothing more than a marketing wing of their respective parties, and cannot be trusted. It goes way beyond Brian Williams.

Thats for sure. He just got caught red handed.

He is the MAIN problem for the fall of mainstream media.

He never was a journalist and decided reading off a teleprompter at 6:30 and becoming a celebrity was more important. THAT'S what is wrong with journalism and media in our country and has been for the last 25 years. They have sold their souls to the celebrity devil and the idea they are worth $20 million/year in salary because they are "special" over journalistic and unbiased integrity.

There is absolutely nothing "special" about Brian Williams. Nothing.

And his ego and brain have justified his exorbitant salary and celebrity on falsities..... Hell, half of hollywood is in the same boat. And Brian Williams is as artificial and insignificant to our country as Hollywood.

Until main stream media realizes this, they are doomed to keep repeating the same things over and over.

I know main stream media has it's problems, and get some stories wrong, but there is at least a process for fact checking a story before release.

There may be a process but the MSM hasn't let that stop them from printing lies. How can you confuse what they've been selling with facts? I am honestly curious as to how anyone could not see their duplicity and give them any credit at all at this point.

I can't sit through the 15 minutes of Viagra and Cialis commercials to get 5 worthy news stories during one 30 minutes evening news broadcast..... The networks even time their commercials together so you can't flip from ABC to CBS to NBC between 6:30 and 7:00 at night.

It's nauseating....

And the network "anchor" is worth $20 million again for what reason? It's just a joke what the major networks have done to the evening news.

It's not so much that the MSM are reporting untruths. The problem lies with the MSM omitting every detail from every story that doesn't support the agendas they are determined to push or burying stories they don't approve of all together. Then at the same time taking some minuscule detail of another story that happens to support said agenda and running it 24/7 to hammer their agenda home like a wrecking ball. Like they say, you are there to report the news not make it. People have grown tired of being force fed agendas all day long and want to think for themselves based on the facts.

I agree with this too.

The 24 hour news cycles has created a bastardization of what we now say is "News".

News used to be this:

Fact, fact, fact, public service announcement about the fact, fact, fact, fact....

Now News is this:

Fact, fact, "interpretation of the fact" by a biased "expert" that has clear left/right leanings, discussion of said fact and it's possible impact on you, fact, more "experts" talking about the interpretation of the fact, et.al.

The fall of news has been completely correlated to the rise of the "opinion editorial" importance in our 24-7 news cycle. Networks have decided to make celebrities of the op-ed personalities on TV. And they in turn have grown fat and pompous in their importance to our news cycle.

This is not just a left-wing problem. This is ALL news broadcasts. And the right does is just as much (if not more).

In order to fill a 24 hour news cycle, "reporting" the actual news in a non-biased and accurate way has taken a back seat to "analyzing the news" and providing "opinion" of it's effects on all of us. And this analysis and opinion is often through the lens of political bias and corporate agenda.

I remember when CNN just used to be a 30-minute or 60-minute old-school news broadcast that used to just be repeated on an infinite loop throughout the day. That was back when Ted Turner owned it. And his idea was to provide "news" whenever people wanted it. Not just at 6:30 at night. And the "anchors" at CNN had no celebrity at all. In fact, they changed often and were almost faceless.

Modern news is nothing like this anymore. And you can't even find it if you look for it.

wrong.

MSM is now measured on the first to report, regardless of factual information. That can be disclosed later.

His hot daughter got her *** eaten out on tv.

While we all watched the Golden Globes on Sunday evening, Gawker noted that HBO’s Girls began its fourth season with Allison Williams‘ character Marnie on the receiving end of some ol’-fashioned “booty eating” from her new beau.***

In advance of the episode, Vulture had a reaction from Allison’s father, NBC newsman Brian Williams, who gave pretty much the same answer he does every time his daughter is involved in a sex scene:

She’s always been an actress. For us, watching her is the family occupation and everybody has to remember it’s acting, no animals were harmed during the filming, and ideally nobody gets hurt.
