Claypool to Chicago for 2nd Rounder

Ahhh the fine stench of failure!! Get use to it steeler fans!! The dog chasing his tail drafting a #2 and trading him for a 2 calling it a win! the quarterback controversies, the fire the coach arguments, hell let’s fire the owner!! Can we do that?? is he or isn’t he a flop, boy oh boy losing is a sport un to itself!

you can still restructure his deal and trade him. Mitch is likely gone so Steelers are saving a ton of money at QB for a few years. They have the cap space for worst case scenario you cut him and take a hit.

CB is a huge need. Jackson could be that Steven Nelson type guy and then maybe draft a CB rd 1 and you have a good starting pair with Sutton as the slot and guys like Pierre and Maulet are then good depth players.

Ok you literally lost me and anyone who knows **** about football at let's draft a Corner in Round 1. They spent a 1 on a running back and they cannot run the ball cause no one can block. They do not need a Corner in the first two rounds. This team has to rebuild the bigs positions.
 
I can't see us drafting CB in Rd. 1. We need OL and DL, whichever is higher rated, than CB. CB is probably our 3rd need. Jackson means they don't have to overspend on Sutton since I think he is a FA. They just can't keep not using top picks on OL and DL. It all starts in the trenches and goes out from there. Our OL sucks. With or without Watt we can't stop the run. Without Watt, we get zero pressure on the QB.

Very True. Id say 4th behind an ILB who you don't have to praise like a special needs kid when he gets three tackles in a game.

I’m wondering if this is more of a Weidel move that Khan negotiated. I hope they tell Tomlin he gets a backseat in the draft this year. The Steelers got their *** kicked on all phases by a team built by Weidel.
 
I hate to see Chase go. I think he has alot more talent than last year and so far this year has shown. But Will love this move next Draft. fix the Oline with 2 of 1st two picks. use other pick BPA.

Glad he went to the NFC. and glad Pickens should get more looks.

On a personal level I drafted both Dj and Claypool in several FF leagues. yea

That gives us Pickens, Deontae, Sims, Freirmuth, Boykin and Gunner.
I’m fine with this receiver corp for this year. Next year we can add the speedster Cal Austin to the mix plus you know they will draft another WR but hopefully not until later I’m y try he draft.

I’m wondering if it’s more of Boykin. He does have some size and speed to him as well.

I was thinking BPA at DE/T/WR with the first three picks. They could squeeze an OLB or CB too.

Oh they will do something dumb like use their first on Addison so they can have the same dynamic as cinci did when they brought in chase… even though Addison is just a better version of DJ… or they will draft another rb or something… with like three super valuable OTs on the board and teams begging to trade into our spot…
