Fantasy Question

Don't we have a Fantasy section anymore? Who owns this f&cking place anyway?

Ok, I've had Brees on my keeper team the last 3 years, and the only time I ever bench him is on his bye week. However, he's playing less than Brees-like this year and he's facing the Lions on the road this week. I have Kaepernick (or however you spell his name) on the road against the Broncos.

What say you?

I have Brees in a keeper league too. Facing a similar choice, but with Eli.

I'd go with Brees. If he starts to click, it's lights out again.
Besides, even on his off day, he equals what Kaepernick gets.

I have Brees as well, with of all people Flacco as backup. I see Brees pulling his weight again with the interceptions going down, especially after a bye week to figure things out.

I'd stick with Brees... It is indoors and he is always ready to go for 400 yds... or at least he was in previous years.

I'd start Kaepernick. Detroit is a tough defense this year and Jimmy Graham is likely out. It could be low scoring because Calvin Johnson is out too.

The 49ers Broncos will likely be high scoring with the 49ers having to pass to keep up.

Tape, that's what I'm thinking too. The Lions have the best pass D in the league and with Graham out, it's going to be tough. It'll be a game time decision but I'm leaning towards Kap

I receive Zach Ertz and DeMarco Murray

I dont have the Eagles defense, so I don't get **** from Sproles on STs. Kinda limits his value. Guy I'm trading with is an Eagles fan, though.

Depends on your bench, are you short on Rbs or wrs?

Keep an eye on the Graham situation he might be playing, also not sure if this helps but I have a rule and I say if I have a stud like Brees I start him every week no matter who he is against. Also yes the Lions have a good front 7 but the back end is where Brees will tear it up, just my two cents. Good luck

TE - Gronkowski
K - Prater (just had to dump Parkey)
D - waiver wire best (this week is the Bills)

QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, RB/WR/TE, K, D

it's basically Gronk + Marshall for DeMarco Murary. Ertz is nothing special (yet). Kind of steep, and after marshall you only have AB as surefire WR

You're thin at RB's and Murray is the best in the league right now. I say yes. And this is why I don't play in 14 team leagues btw

Keep an eye on the Graham situation he might be playing, also not sure if this helps but I have a rule and I say if I have a stud like Brees I start him every week no matter who he is against. Also yes the Lions have a good front 7 but the back end is where Brees will tear it up, just my two cents. Good luck

I have Brees on both my fantasy teams. In my other league he's my only QB so he's starting. I figure I'd go with Kap in this league to hedge my bets

I have them in the lineup and felt that was the way and then I looked at the Yahoo projections (which I rarely care about) and they had Oliver 2-3 points higher than either one... craziness...

Chargers have a nice offense.
I also have Oliver starting, though that is more from necessity than anything else.

Still, 2-3 points aren't really enough for me to favor him over the studs of Foster or Jamaal.

Sadly, I can remember when I would never start a player in fantasy against the Steelers...not because of not wanting to have to root for a player to score against the Steelers, but because the Steelers defense would just shut them down.

Steelers are 22nd in run defense. Chew on that for a while. Charles and Foster without even blinking an eye

I'd start Wallace. That could be a high scoring game. Hopkins is almost an afterthought in the Houston offense. Andre Johnson is still the main man and Hopkins is kind of an all or nothing guy with big plays.

The bold is why I would choose Hopkins, our D is just not very good.

Stat-wise, there's little difference between Wallace and Hopkins - and between the Bears pass defense and ours. Wallace has 10 more targets and 1 more TD. Hopkins has a few more yards.

Interestingly, the Bears don't give up a lot to the WR position. I disregarded the Packers game - didn't even look at the stats from that considering the Packer offense.

Our D, however, liberally gives it up to any position.

Though I'm leaning towards us shutting down Houston since it would fit right into our "WTF is going on?!" season.
