FBI sat on Rittenhouse footage for 14 months.

The court system has become a public reality TV show and the mob is the dictator of outcome. Thank god these just souls didnt fall.

I have a lot of faith in the jury system. You know why bizarre results - hot coffee, $800,00 verdict! OJ found not guilty! - make the news?

Because they are really, really rare. You don't hear about the approximately 750,000 jury trials every year (civil and criminal) that result in intelligent, well-founded verdicts.

Juries are smarter than a lot of people who don't have experience with juries believe. Again, the outlier verdict gets all the attention. A jury of 12 will inevitably have numerous homeowners, apartment residents, professionals, those with graduate degrees, college graduates, high school graduates, those who work full-time, part-time, students. I talk to juries after trials and find out they noticed things I did not, or put evidence into context that I did not. 12 sets of eyes see more than one.

The concept of a trial by our peers began in England in 1215. I have read pompous bleating from liberal blowhards, diminishing the Magna Carta. "Hah, it talks about castle guards!" The Magna Carta provided that citizens would not be held without a speedy trial (6th amendment), the punishments must fit the crime (8th amendment), no citizen is to be held without sufficient sworn testimony to support a charge (4th and 5th amendment), and citizens are entitled to be judged by a jury of their peers (6th amendment).

The utter ignorance of those mocking this document is breathtaking. Juries work. Believe in them - and believe in the American system, the greatest rules for governing the populace ever devised.

Tv, media, press all must be separated from this or it shall too fall.

Agreed. It is so easy to destroy, to burn, to denigrate. That is what the left does - they never build anything, they just destroy.

The bill of rights should be the beginning and end of every question of those who think they can rule me or my family.

Neighbor has a collection. Glock 19, Glock 21 (awesome firearm), Walther PPQ M2 (amazing trigger - or so he tells me), Savage Axis .308. He texted me pictures of some of his collection:

Me? Guns scare me.

I know where you live and I'm dialing the digits. You fool no one Saul.

HIT. Hit. H.I.T

So my neighbor is traveling a lot at the moment, so he can't show his entire collection he told me, but he said he keeps the firearm at a reasonable length at all times at home - and if he goes out, he takes one of those aluminum alloy collapsible batons with him:

Apparently that baton will snap an ulna like a twig, or so he says. I just nod in agreement.

I have one of the collapsible batons in my truck. Wife has one in hers.

I'd hate like **** to get hit by one of those.

Changes be coming to the Communist News Network

Saw it live… it was emotional… you should have seen them nervously waiting for the jury for like twenty minutes… they looked like tgey were going to shake apart

The incredible genius that is "I completely lack any" Joy Reid protests that white male tears are completely fake, symbols of wHyTe sO0pReMaSeE, and more toxic than fentanyl. Looked real to me, like a young man who has been subjected to contemptible lies for 15 months realizes that the American judicial system worked.

And will continue to work as he sues the excrement known as Joyless Hag Racist Dogshit Reid, dozens of MSNBC and CNN nutjobs, and perhaps even Sloppy Joe.

Bizarro world liberals live in where people running around burning ****, looting, throwing rocks and fireworks at police, and chasing down and attempting to attack others are the good guys. Someone who shows up to try and help protect others and ends up having to defend himself from an attack is the bad guy. Simply because he was armed and didn’t lay down and let himself get beat to death.

You biatches articulate things better, no doubt.

"Now, it is a terrible business to mark a man out for the vengeance of men. But it is a thing to which a man can grow accustomed, as he can to other terrible things; he can even grow accustomed to the sun. And the horrible thing about all legal officials, even the best, about all judges, magistrates, barristers, detectives, and policemen, is not that they are wicked (some of them are good), not that they are stupid (several of them are quite intelligent), it is simply that they have got used to it.

Strictly they do not see the prisoner in the dock; all they see is the usual man in the usual place. They do not see the awful court of judgment; they only see their own workshop. Therefore, the instinct of Christian civilisation has most wisely declared that into their judgments there shall upon every occasion be infused fresh blood and fresh thoughts from the streets. Men shall come in who can see the court and the crowd, and coarse faces of the policemen and the professional criminals, the wasted faces of the wastrels, the unreal faces of the gesticulating counsel, and see it all as one sees a new picture or a ballet hitherto unvisited.

Our civilisation has decided, and very justly decided, that determining the guilt or innocence of men is a thing too important to be trusted to trained men. It wishes for light upon that awful matter, it asks men who know no more law than I know, but who can feel the things that I felt in the jury box. When it wants a library catalogued, or the solar system discovered, or any trifle of that kind it uses up its specialists. But when it wishes anything done which is really serious, it collects twelve of the ordinary men standing round. The same thing was done, if I remember right, by the Founder of Christianity."

My wife has her permit and is an amazingly good shot - a natural. She shoots best with a Glock 19 in semi-auto flavor and Colt Python in revolver. (Full house loads) Her carry is a Glock 43.
My sister in law is the best shot in the family. Even beat my brother in law who is an avid Hunter in a target shoot we set up a couple years ago over Thanksgiving. Though he could shoot an eyelash off a gnat at 100 yards with his scoped in rifle though. She was head of security at a now dismantled nuke plant so there is that..😁
