It is to the point now where there are absolutely no facts that could possibly come out that some of these people would accept as justification. The attitude of some people seems to be "He was unarmed. Therefore shooting him is not justified". Doesn't matter if he assaulted a cop. Doesn't matter if he was going for his gun. Doesn't matter if he ignored the cop's orders to stop. Doesn't matter if he was a massive thug who had just robbed someone and was stoned out of his mind.
They don't want it to be Michael Brown's fault. They don't want this cop to be shown to have done the right thing, or at a minimum to be shown to have had legitimate fear for his own safety. They want their victimhood and righteous anger, whether it's warranted or not. They are not going to give it up for anything.

Yes. this happens way to often. Its a narrative the out of town partisans are pushing because it fits their agenda. They use it in cases like this where the whole thing is murky enough that there are always going to be enough people to believe the worse on either side.. this crap is used to keep racism at the forefront of the public eye while its classism that truly plagues the country

I believe that if God has any sense of irony, he will wait for a large group of protesters - many of whom are devout global warming panickers - to gather in some type of protest, and send a cold front with temperatures so low that the same protesters are driven to hospitals to treat their frostbite ...

I expected riots down here after the Zimmerman verdict and they didn't happen. Local leaders did the right thing.
