He is a bad game day coach, terrible at in game adjustments, horrible clock management, not good at game planning and only won because he was a hands off coach handed a Super Bowl winning team with a franchise QB, a HOF DC and a roster of great players he did not draft or develop. Now that those players left we have no playoff wins in 4 years and no playoffs in years and counting. 5 playoff wins in 7 years is awful with a franchise QB, hell Cowher had 5 playoff wins in 3 years with Ben who was not in his prime like now, the years he is wasting under Tomlin.

This board will be in meltdown mode if AB gets seriously injured as a PR guy but you will stupidly and stubbornly defend the con man, tales one to know one it appears.

Hello Deon Sanders, Rod Woodson, Desean Jackson the list is long(players whinhad established thenselves at other positions but still were used on returns). We dont even know how they will be used yet. Like I said we have done this before.

Mike Tomlin announced that Antonio Brown will still be returning punts for the Pittsburgh Steelers but will be sharing those duties with rookie Dri Archer.

When the Pittsburgh Steelers selected Dri Archer in the 3rd round of the 2014 NFL Draft, many thought Antonio Brown's days of returning punts were over. When Mike Tomlin addressed the media at his weekly press conference Tuesday, he made it clear the punt-return duties would be shared between the rookie and the Pro Bowl wide receiver.

As the Steelers prepare for the Cleveland Browns this Sunday, in addition to naming Brown and Archer as punt returners, Tomlin stated that Archer and LeGarrette Blount would handle the kickoff-return duties.


Simply put, Tomlin stated that Brown is a Pro Bowl returner and this isn't something the team will ignore strictly to avoid potential injury.

It begs the question of how the team will utilize Brown in the punt-return game. The best comparison would be Santonio Holmes' time with the team, when he was used only in certain situations in the return game. For example, when a fair catch is required deep in Steelers' territory, or if they need a big return at a crucial juncture of a game.

The Steelers very well could follow that same methodology for utilizing Brown in the punt-return game in 2014. Doing so would still allow Archer to get his touches and be a possible threat to break a big return anytime the football is in his hands.

Perhaps you need to take a class in reading fundamentals and comprehension. My question to you, is and was simple, "what have YOU DONE, because you incessantly complain and moan about the short comings of Coach Tomlin, for the team? Do you work and the complex? Did you apply for the coaching position when it was available back in '07?

You're ramblings of Limas Sweed contributing as well as Alonzo Jackson have NOTHING to do with your personal contributions to the Steelers organization. You ask me, what have I done? I'll tell you - I'm a LOYAL FAN. I'm a REASONABLE FAN. I realize that we will not and cannot win every game that we play; I also know that we won't strike gold during every draft.

Here's what we do know, the choice of selecting Coach Tomlin has worked out just fine for the organization and Rooney family because the team continues to boast a win record.

Sunday is on the way. We will see if the Tomlin ballchinians are chafed by the 12th. Tomlins first 6 years vs Cowhers, Cowher playoffs every year with Kordell and a host of others. Tomlin not so much with at the very least an excellent QB some call him a hall of famer and a terrific defense for most of his years.
