Harbaugh probably pumped up his team after the loss last week by telling them they didn;t have to worry about the steelers because they will lose to crap teams and eliminate themselves from the playoffs. This was him telling his team, i told you so.

My point being, its week 10; I'm not about to point at the standings and say, "see? see? we have the tiebreaker so that means we're ahead of them!". Pittsburgh and Baltimore have the same record through week 10, a tiebreaker is meaningless right now. We arent "third in the division", we're tied for last place (just as two teams can be tied for 1st place)

In the end you know the Ravens are going to win the division again.
Hate them all you want. They play football more physically than any other team in the AFC North. In the end the other teams fold. Just like Tomlin's Steelers did yesterday and like they probably will do next week against the Titans or some other week down the road when it's critical that they win.
Focus is a huge weak point with this team. It's not talent. It's focus. They don't have it.
The Ravens lose focus regarding the Steelers. It's because Harbaugh hates Pittsburgh so much he literally allows it to cloud his judgement. So regarding Pittsburgh he actually becomes distracted. But with other teams in the league, he does fine.
Tomlin and the Steelers, they can lose focus at any time with any team. They're like Doug the dog in Up. "SQUIRREL?" It doesn't take much of anything to draw them away from what's important at the moment and suddenly they're off and in la-la land and the Jets are up 17 pts and the coaches are pissing their pants and have no idea what to do and the players are pressing like dumb-***** and before you know it the 1-7 Jets are playoff-bound.

I begged and begged for the coaches to stay focused and keep the players focused. That didn't happen. Now they'll end up drafting in the middle of the pack again with some mediocre talent that won't see the field for two years and then we'll find out that player will be woefully under-talented like everyone else we draft.
Way to go Coach T, Coach Haley, Coach Lebeau and team in general. Your annual quest for 8-8 is well underway. At this rate you can lose to all the really terrible teams, beat the great ones and still end up posting a a not quite losing season. Perhaps you can draft the 4th best cornerback in the draft this year so he can play in a few seasons under our ridiculously complicated defense which will be phased out by then.

If Harbaugh's post game comments about a game his team wasn't involved in bother you, you're taking things WAY too seriously.
The Steelers players and coaches have plenty of things to concern themselves with responding to their failure yesterday without worrying about Harbaugh's comments as well.

No. There are three coaches I would never under any circumstances accept. Harbaugh 1, 2, or Hoodie.
I would refuse to watch any Steeler football for the duration of any of those coaches tenure. Without exception. I can't stand those guys or their methods. I could "perhaps" bare Jim Harbaugh. But not John and absolutely not Hoodie. He cheats and he would completely destroy the credibility of the Steelers.

If you distrust the media to a point where you have to issue conditions to edit comments before a broadcast then you should:
A. Don't invite the media into your locker room.
B. Don't make dumb *** comments like these in public.
C. Most importantly, remember that success is fleeting. Your split tailed *** might be looking for a job one day and Mike Tomlin could be standing there waiting for you.
D. Continue to go FAK yourself jagoff.

So we were in first place for how many days, Friday and Saturday, well glad we got that **** over with. That may have been the sound of opportunity knocking and the steelers decided they were too busy.
The accusations of Darth Belichek are at best gratuitous. The organization had been fined for "cheating" and the "cheater" likely an assistant coach or staff was responsible for bringing prohibited scouting reports to the coaching staff.
That said at this juncture in the Steelers quest for another championship (or even a play off chance) with the successes Bill Belichek has had during his tenure in New England especially his penchants for bringing in players whose careers have ben pronounced "over" and the ability to utilize them with positive results, I would drop Tomlin like a bad habit for an opportunity to have Belichek as HC!

Suffice to say Hoodie and his friend Ernie Adams did cheat, do cheat and will cheat as long as they continue to work together in football. The * are as dirty as a team can be and Tom Brady's entire legacy is tainted and completely invalid.
Check out the original complaint filed by Jets Coach Eric Mangini, pay special attention to the sections regarding audio signals and the interception and blocking of those signals. You might find that reading interesting. You may also find that all THAT part of the complaint disappeared very quickly because THAT was the real meat of the scandal.
What you really need to know though is that the *s were involved in stealing audio signals and video of other teams. They then took all that information and broke it down along with down and distance and film footage of the plays and players. They then use Ernie Adams who happens to have a photographic memory. They take the audio and video information to Ernie along with play verbiage for every single team in the league with their coaches have painstakingly broken down. (You see, they've gone through, matched the verbiage with what all the players do so they KNOW what all the play calls mean.) then they give that to Ernie who happens to sit up in the box way up high.
Ernie has memorized (with his photographic memory, you recall,) every single playcall for every team both offensively and defensively throughout the league. The *s train video on opposing coaches during games (continuing to build on their database of down/distance/player reactions) while they continue to steal audio signals over the radio. Meanwhile during games those stolen audio signals go directly to Ernie who translates the calls and then relates them back to either the offensive or defensive coordinator who then tells either the defensive captain or Tom Brady what the other team is doing.
This way the *s know precisely what the other team is doing both offensively and defensively at any given time. Now. The *s still have to STOP the team. It also doesn't keep a team from calling an audible at the line if the QB or defense sees something, but it certainly gives the *s a HUGE advantage. This is why the *s have posted such an amazing record over Hoodies tenure there. They cheat. They continue to cheat and they will do so until they are forced to stop.
(Sigh... yes. I know. You'll simply say - "Why don't team's just change their signals?") Because changing your entire offensive and defensive signal verbiage is not simple. Because coaches come from coaching trees and their verbiage is a literal language and it has to be known by heart by the OC or DC and by several players on the field who translate it to the rest of the defense or offense. So you can't just change it overnight.
Now, the Giants did that exact thing. They changed their entire offensive and defensive language before the superbowls and forced the *s to play them straight up. And in doing so, made the *s actually play the game fairly.

All you have to do is look at the original complaint and see how much of it was actually ignored and completely discarded to realize "Oh ****. We were completely misdirected to a really really small part of the complaint." Hate Harbaugh, all you want but what he said about the Steelers was true. sad but true. Now we play the Titans. Unless we man up get focused ONLY on the Titans and not their record, we will suffer another loss.
Oh BTW, look at the score of the Jets losses and you can see they were close in a number of games. Why wasn't there more talk from the coaches about how dangerous the Jets were/are.

It might not sound right this week but it has been noted in the past that every season the Steelers' goal is to win the SB and the Ravens' goal is to beat the Steelers.
Regardless, Hairball's bulletin board material may motivate the Steelers better than Coach Cool Shades does.

Like it or not, EVERY team gets up to play the Steelers. When you are the holder of the most SB trophies in history, teams want to take you down. They need to accept that they have to play harder EVERY game ALL SEASON.
On a different note, I get more pissed at the fans "travel" well comments. The fans may travel, but the VAST number of those same fans ARE ALREADY THERE, day in and day out.

This smells fishy to me. Wouldn't be surprised if Harbum set the whole thing up. Should the Steelers care? No. Should Harbum care that bad about what the Steelers are doing right after his team's game? No. Should I care about it? Not really, but I do think it's amusing that it becomes a "story" and that CBS "had to issue an apology." Sounds like a load of bullshit all around.
