I think I'm done for the year

Hate we aren't still in the running. We had our shot but came up short. I'll continue to watch the game as I'm a fan! The storyline of interest for me is to see if the Seahawks can repeat. The rest of the teams left can go pound sand! What a season, another Kennywood ride no doubt! We have a few areas to address but we aren't that far of from running with the big dogs in the league. Don't think I'll be buying any of the division title crap (hats/shirts), we run the north...really? I'll watch how we reload via the draft and free agency and see what we have in September. We aren't that far off. Can't take this stuff personal, don't need the stress. We'll be back and we will compete. Maybe there should be a parade downtown for Kiesel, Troy, Ike, Harrison, and Heath as they will not return next season. Go Steelers!!!

Because of the new rules and constant penalties, we lost our MVP for the biggest game of the year and we are out of the post-season. I'm not mad at Nelson for the hit. I'm disgusted of the small window a defender has to hit a ball carrier.

You're right on! These guys are trying to keep away from the head and are hitting low. I guess some view a knee injury as something that will keep them out of litigation down the line as opposed to multiple concussions.

I appreciate the effort put forth by this years squad. But no way I'm sporting any we run the north ****.

I'll pull for Seattle, Carolina, and Indy. Everyone else sucks.

I don't know how the rest of you feel but I think I'm done until the draft.

I have no interest in the teams that remain.

The NFL's inability to be consistent with penalty calls and the fact that it is getting harder to argue that the fix may be in has me tapping out.

I'm not bitter about the loss we were beat plain and simple. I just don't care about the current match ups or future as far as that goes.

I am a Steeler fan first and will not watch just anything the NFL puts on the field.

Anyone else over it?

As long as I don't have anything better to do I will watch football, only because its playoff football. During the regular season unless I was watching a Steeler game I didn't watch any game from start to end including MNF, TNF and Sunday Night football. The rules have been created in a such a fashion that so much is subjective that no two games are even remotely officiated the same. It's hard to watch.

I love the game of football, will keep watching. Just with not as much passion. Will vote for Seattle as I do like the way they play. I did hate them when the walrus was coach.

I will continue to watch, unless I get a better offer.

It has taken me awhile to get over this loss and at first I didn't want anything to do with football. Then the anger went away and I remembered everything that I like about football. I am a Steeler fan and love to bleed black and gold but I love watching the NFL, even with how it is changing and the bs calls that happen.

I do a playoff fantasy football league with friends and my kids so that is always fun. I also run a super bowl pool and get in to as many as i can afford..which seems to be less and less every year, lol! I am also a member of our local booster club and we do some cooking which takes the whole day right up to kick off some the days of SB parties are gone but we raise a ton of money for our student athlete's! No matter who is in the SB we watch as a family, rate all the commercials and hope we hit our numbers.

It is very hard to just give up on football, plus I am kinda a ball buster when other friends teams lose. When I say I am a ball buster let me add that is a two way street and I think that is what is great about being a sports fan.......God if it is a Cowboy/ Pat's SB I will cry!!!!!!! lol

I'm with you. I'm a Steeler fan, not an NFL fan. I used to be both. I'd be a bandwagon fan and watch the Buccaneers if they didn't suck. On the Sunday's/Monday's/Thursday's that there hasn't been a Steelers game, I've often forgot a game was on TV.

The Rog wanted more women fans. I'd say my wife is now a fan since I am more likely to spend some Sunday time doing yard work than watching football all day. Thanks a ******* lot Rog.
