Ok, he is on the trade block and won't fetch more than a 6th or seventh rounder. Do you trade for him as our 3rd down back...or do you spend a 5th or so in the draft on a 3rd down back?

I will give them a six pack for him and maybe some Easter egg candies............. assorted flavors..........

I would like to see the Steelers pick up WI RB James White later in the draft....dude averaged over 5 ypc in his 4 years at WI, 6.5 ypc last year on 221 attempts. He's going to be steal in this draft IMO. Played well all week at the Senior Bowl also. Here's his stats

CAREER STATS RUSHING RECEIVING
SEASON ATT YDS AVG LNG TD REC YDS AVG LNG TD

2013 221 1444 6.5 93 13 39 300 7.7 35 2

2012 125 806 6.4 69 12 8 132 16.5 62 1

2011 141 713 5.1 49 6 15 150 10.0 40 0

2010 156 1052 6.7 66 14 11 88 8.0 26 0

Can't see a trade for the guy? But James White, could be a pick, later.

I wonder if Niners fans ***** about their drafting they way Steelers fans ***** about Colbert's. Two busts in the 1st two picks of the draft two years ago.

I'd wait until after the draft. A guy like Dri Archer, De'Anthony Thomas will be around later or even James Wilder Jr. If you want another power back. If not James is probably dumped when Lattimore is cleared to play and you grab him off waivers.

I don't think we need to waste a draft pick on him now that we have Blount.

Steelers still need depth at the position. If you compare last years depth, they are a man short. Although I do feel Blount is a upgrade behind Bell..............

Blount, is an upgrade!!! I think his short game alone, will prove that.

Absolutely not, that dude isn't worth a crap at the professional level

The rumors are out there that it would be a good "filler" to throw James in on a draft deal with SF to move down to their spot, thus saving the need to gamble on a higher pick at RB.

I'd rather have the draft pick and take a chance to a running back in rounds 4-6, where there should be some very good players still available.
