Mike Tomlin says BIG changes are happening

It’ll be Mike Sullivan the QB coach. Again. Shades doesn’t like new people.
 
Guess these are super-secret big changes that they'll spring on the unsuspecting ratbirds on Sunday.

Can't wait to see what something special is cooked up for the rats. With the run D leaking it might be a rough outing going against a solid running team.
 
I think between the fans, media scrutiny, ex players, etc etc calling out the Steelers that Canada won't make it through the year or will be stripped of his duties. I was not a fan of Tomlin even after they won the SB, but at that time he was a young coach so he got the benefit of the doubt. We are still seeing the same issues now and they are magnified because we don't have the veterans. I was fine with Canada coming back i thought we had a nice end to the season and we looked amazing in the preseason. Now it is definitely time to go. We are back to the same BS that we started with last year. Our passing charts are pathetic looking. How can any coach justify every throw outside? Canada doesn't trust the players enough to throw in the middle of the field, but yet he expects a deep pass on 4th and 1.. There is just no cohesion or flow to the offense

Respectfully disagree. The louder the calls are to replace Canaduh the more resolved Shades will be to keep him.
 
Watching Tomlin and his post-game BS. The man will NEVER admit he was the problem always we or they. Changes what a bunch of croc. Interview of Goden changes ask... we need to tighten up, REALLY. Re watching that thing yesterday, wow talk about a complete laying an egg. Mr., Rooney should be absolutely embarrassed if he watched that game. We will never make the playoffs in todays game let alone SB with the type of junk we witnessed yesterday with this coaching staff. We have seen this type of play for years. Does anyone believe at this moment that this team will do anything different next week. Reality a fluke we won last week. Tomlin and his crew at their best get beat by a rookie QB and a new coaching staff. A team who had a line that was supposed to be sooooo bad. Can't even tackle, bad just bad. Now we will blame whoever starts at QB.
 
I just look at where our Offense is and then where the Buffalo's, Philadelphia's, San Francisco's and Kansas City's etc offenses are and realize we are a long long long way from having a realistic chance of competing for a championship in the near future. Simply sad.
 
Its all just "Coachspeak" when your rear end is in front of a camera being grilled after an embarrassing defeat.

Even if there are "changes".....they aren't guaranteed to be helpful changes..

My biggest disappointment in the game yesterday was our D-Line...
With out Cam in there, there a bunch of misfit pieces to fill a roster..

That is mostly because of our elite defense though.
 
Canada wasn't fired today, so the only other alternative would be to demote him. Other than those two options, there's no change that will make any difference.
 
Canada will be here for the full year. If Tomlin was going to make a change, he should do it now, or during the bye week to give us time to get up to speed. But, IF he does, and that is a BIG IF, make a change, it will be a knee jerk reaction during half time of the game following the bye (sound familiar?).

Canada is going no where until the offseason, unfortunately. And sadly...

THE STEELERS WILL NOT EVER WIN ANOTHER SUPER BOWL AS LONG AS TOMLIN IS HEAD COACH.

Teams were running on the Steelers with Cam in there last year and this year.

Good news, I think I know the end of his tenure.

The bad news? I feel he is going to hang around to try and get another 39 victories to retire as the Steelers winningest coach.

We're the .500 Club! The defense could certainly be top 5 with the right DC. We don't have that. We have a guy who failed every team he coached at. The OC doesn't belong in the NFL and the HC shelf life has expired.

I just hope the hell I'm not sitting here bitching about this stuff 2-3 years from now. That 2008 superbowl trophy is collecting a lot of dust.

I hear yaz Steel4evr, it's a sad state we are in.

I don't see anything happening this year, at all. Cowher at least took the gumption and removed Sherman from OC duties (in season). Can Tomlin do that, hard to say but whomever he replaces O'Canada with will be near identical due to promote from within and the system is here.

I'd like to see him beat the 4 Superbowl victories by Noll. Now that would be impressive and certainly put him in legendary status.
