It was the guy on twitter who implied it, but still, with what she has had to put up with I'm actually surprised she lasted as long as she did. A regular Press Secretary has a demanding job, but a Press Secretary for this administration is a whole other animal.

You guys realize - unlike any other presidency in recent history - the WH stopped doing regular press briefings quite some time ago. The podium was gathering dust. With the wacko, run-away-train Trump serving as his own spokesman on twitter and in shouting diatribes at reporters, the role of press secretary became antiquated and meaningless. Back when she did hold press briefings, Huckabee Sanders lied consistently and continuously like few others are capable of, outside her ex-boss, of course.
