Mueller just dumped on Trump , clear as mud

Steeltime and the Trump base continues to spin this as some sort of run-of-the-mill criminal case involving average citizen Joe Shmoe. Everyone knows the President has extraordinary constitutional protections while in office. It is perfectly clear Mueller, under the aegis of the DOJ, could not have charged Trump with any crime. Regardless, the President is held to a higher standard, that of his oath to uphold the Constitution and the office of presidency.

The Trump-Russia case is actually quite simple:

1. He knew about Russian interference.
2. He encouraged Russian interference.
3. He lied, lied, lied, lied, and lied.
4. He directed everyone else to lie.
5. He obstructed justice.

You’re either okay with this behavior, or you’re not. I’m not. Trump should resign or be impeached.

1. It did not influence the outcome of the election. Hillary has been and would be much easier on Russia than Trump.
2. He made a joke about Russia searching for Hillary’s hacked emails.
3. No, he did not.
4. No, he did not.
5. No, he did not.

I disagree with #2 and #5. And #4 is open to debate in my opinion. And Obama knew more about #1 than Trump did (espesically DURING the election). And I'm not "fine with it". I'm just not going senile over it or think it's some end of our republic like half the news media and you Tibs have often tried to tell me.

As far as getting buthurt over a politician lying, I think you have to really be stupid to think Trump is the first or last one to do that. And lying and telling false truths is almost part of the game. Obama told false truths all the time. Trump exaggerates everything on purpose as part of his method of negotiations. Pelosi is lying right now (saying this is a "Constitutional Crisis" is a lie). Schumer lies all the time.

They all lie. So your "high crimes and misdemeanors" is lying or exaggerating or stretching the truth? That's the new "Tibs criteria" for impeachment?

We'll wait for the next democratic President Tibs and I can't wait to revisit this conversation.

It's not that you dislike Trump so much Tibs. It's your blatant double standards and selective outrage and exaggerations (just like the media) that I can't stand.

Liberals in government and media are world champion projectors. I can't remember which Conservative pundit it was years ago who said that any time you want to know what Liberals are secretly up to behind closed doors, just listen to what they accuse the other side of doing and you'll have your answer. And goddamned if that hasn't been proven true over and over again since I heard that 10 or 15 years ago. It's uncanny.

I've never met someone so prone to selective outrage in my time on this planet. Obama lies, Tibs says no big deal. Trump lies, he implodes. Obama gives $1.5Billion to Iran, he calls it smart. Trump meets with NK Kim, Tibs loses his damn mind. On...and on...and on.

It's indeed bizarro world.

A good article on the hypocrisy of the left and Russia. - https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/02/left-hypocrisy-russia-partner-under-obama/

Great read and won't post the whole thing, but here is one of the money quotes -
Then, while the media frenzy was focused on the American election results and whether the incoming U.S. president was saying nice things about the Russian president, the United States and the five other world powers that negotiated the Iran deal (including Russia) authorized the shipment of 116 metric tons of natural uranium from Russia to Iran. David Albright noted to the press that the amount could be enriched to make more than ten nuclear bombs.

Mueller is a fraud. https://www.dailywire.com/news/4792...ook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=benshapiro

Here is a taste of what the ultra patriotic Mueller did:

John Dowd, an attorney for Trump, left a voicemail for Rob Kelner, Flynn’s attorney in November 2017.

In Mueller’s report, this voicemail is selectively edited to give the impression that Trump’s attorney was asking Flynn’s attorney for information that might hurt the president while reminding the attorney about what Trump has said about Flynn:

I understand your situation, but let me see if I can't state it in starker terms. . . . t wouldn't surprise me if you've gone on to make a deal with ... the government. ... f . .. there's information that implicates the President, then we've got a national security issue, . . . so, you know, . . . we need some kind of heads up. Um, just for the sake of protecting all our interests if we can .... [R]emember what we've always said about the ' President and his feelings toward Flynn and, that still remains ....

Here is the actual transcript (UNEDITED)

The actual transcript of this voicemail has now been released, and shows what Mueller left out:

Hey, Rob, uhm, this is John again. Uh, maybe, I-I-I-'m-I'm sympathetic; I understand your situation, but let me see if I can't ... state it in ... starker terms. If you have ... and it wouldn't surprise me if you've gone on to make a deal with, and, uh, work with the government, uh ... I understand that you can't join the joint defense; so that's one thing. If, on the other hand, we have, there's information that ... implicates the President, then we've got a national security issue, or maybe a national security issue, I don't know ... some issue, we got to-we got to deal with, not only for the President, but for the country. So ... uh ... you know, then-then, you know, we need some kind of heads up. Um, just for the sake of ... protecting all our interests, if we can, without you having to give up any ... confidential information. So, uhm, and if it's the former, then, you know, remember what we've always said about the President and his feelings toward Flynn and, that still remains, but — Well, in any event, uhm, let me know, and, uh, I appreciate your listening and taking the time. Thanks, Pal.

Good take on a Mueller quote - https://www.americanthinker.com/art..._disgraced_himself_and_the_us_government.html

In his recent public statement, Robert Mueller admitted he was on a witch hunt. He didn't mean to do so, but his own words reveal as much:

And as set forth in the report after that investigation, if we had had confidence that the president clearly did not commit a crime, we would have said so. We did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime. - Mueller

By talking about whether or not the president was guilty of committing a crime, Mueller revealed the fact that he was not investigating whether or not the president committed the crime. Mueller would never confess to trying to pin any old crime on the president, but the way he expressed himself in those two sentences is a dead giveaway: he failed to identify the specific crime being investigated and thus telegraphed the fact that for the purposes of his investigation, any crime would do.

It is good to remember that every governmental system — no matter how democratic — retains absolute power when it comes to investigating criminal activity and meting out punishment for it. Even for an enlightened government, this potential for evil is a specter that can never be eradicated. For those who believe that power corrupts, the absolute power that resides with any government must be constrained. If it is not, some of the humans who work for the government may exploit their power to serve their own personal beliefs and interests. This is one reason why our legal system is not supposed to ever search for a crime to attach to a person. That Mueller was willing to do so in his investigation of Trump is a clear sign of corruption.

Like I always say, you let these people go off script enough times and they will reveal themselves.

Are you saying the people investigating Trump didn't have an agenda and were conflicted? Did you read the ******* text messages by Peter Storzk?

I hope they are looking for the money trail. Is this Peter Storzk just a sycophant for all things Hillary? FBI dudes can't get paid all that much. And he found his way into every key aspect of the Clinton and Trump investigations.

Never Trumpers are on both sides. They are the establishment elites. You have Dems like Pelosi and Schumer who don't even believe half of what they say but they say it to keep power.

You have the same on the right. They talk a big game about stopping Pelosi and Schumer to get elected and then they don't do ****. They just want to get elected and stay there and get rich.

Trump blew that up. Bernie Sanders did too on the left. On both sides, people got sick of words and want somebody to do something. Bureaucrats on both sides don't want that. They want status quo.

Look at how many republicans chose to retire instead of run in the last election. They would rather retire than actually have to do something.

Kristol is a joke.

see, Tibs and the libs want to focus solely on Trump. Trump's actions. Trump's words. All leading up to his election and since.
what they fail to do is see the whole picture. See, no one else matters in their opinion of Trump. Doesn't matter that Obama ordered a stand-down on the Russian investigation. Doesn't matter that Obama once told Russian President Dmitry Medvedev he'd "have more flexibility" after his last election. Anything outside the personal space of Donald J Trump is 100% irrelevant.

Does Donald Trump lie? yes.
Is there now, or has there ever been, a politician who has never lied? no.

so what's the deal? it all comes down to the fact proven daily that the left has not accepted Hillary's loss as well as they could have.

Bill Kristol is one of the Rockefeller Wing Republicans. In other words Democrat-LITE.

Is posting articles about never-Trumpers being against Trump supposed to be interesting in some way?

Barr was flawless in his interview with Crawford.

JAN CRAWFORD: But you have concerns about how they conducted the investigation?

WILLIAM BARR: Yes but you know, when you’re dealing with official government contact, intent is frequently a murky issue. I’m not suggesting that people did what they did necessarily because of conscious, nefarious motives. Sometimes people can convince themselves that what they’re doing is in the higher interest, the better good. They don’t realize that what they’re doing is really antithetical to the democratic system that we have. They start viewing themselves as the guardians of the people that are more informed and insensitive than everybody else. They can- in their own mind, they can have those kinds of motives. And sometimes they can look at evidence and facts through a biased prism that they themselves don’t realize.

Wait a minute I though Trump and his base of crazies welcomed impeachment, that it would make the Dems look like fools. Based in his comments yesterday, Trump's about ready to take a dump in his briefs...that's one terrified man.

I cannot believe any person actually believes this line of reasoning. To wit:

  • Trump and/or his campaign colluded with Russia as to Russia's activities in the 2016 election.
  • We will stand by the Mueller investigation - just like we stood by the 2016 election results.
  • Mueller: "No evidence ANY American conspired or cooperated with Russian efforts."
  • Lefties: "He colluded!! Oh, and obstruction."
  • Mueller: "Here is what the Bad Orange Man did on obstruction ... crickets."
  • Mueller: "He made tweets!!"
  • Mueller: "He tweeted about people!!"
  • Mueller: "His tweets could have affected witnesses. No evidence they did, but COULD HAVE!!"
  • So, Mueller, what witness was prevented from speaking to you, what document destroyed, what document altered, what witness subverted?? Mueller: "He tweeted!!"
  • No, what actual evidence was destroyed or tampered with? Mueller: "He tweeted!! Orange man bad."
  • So Trump then says this whole thing is bullshit. A fraud. A waste of time, as it always has been. A lie, made up by lunatic lefties who hate the fact that the United States has returned to its dominance under Trump.
  • Lefties respond: "Hah, Trump says it's bullshit, so he fears impeachment. What is he hiding by turning over 1.2 million documents, and 500 witnesses, and waiving privileges?!? What is he hiding??"

My advice to you and the rest of the screeching harpies known as lefties:

Pelosi: Public Not Smart Enough to Understand Impeachment

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) recently expressed concerns that the American public is not smart enough to truly understand the impeachment process.

The California lawmaker has been hesitant to jump aboard the impeachment train alongside the more “energized” members of her party. Prior to the tumultuous 2018 midterm elections and Mueller report results, Pelosi promised impeachment was “off the table.”

“Going into the [2006] election, I said it’s off the table. I didn’t mean it’s off the table if you had some goods. If somebody has information, then we can act upon it,” Pelosi told Rolling Stone.

“But from what we know now, it’s off the table.”

Obviously they would have to impeach him before they knew what they were impeaching him for.
