NFL Sets Schedule Release Date

Each year there’s an extra holiday for Pittsburgh Steelers fans – the NFL schedule release. The release typically coincides with the NFL Draft, but the past two years it has taken place a couple weeks after the draft. This year, the NFL will release the schedule on May 12th, 2o21.

Teams have been given the opportunity to release their specific schedules to their fans approximately an hour prior to the entire league schedule drops. The Steelers will likely release their schedule via Facebook Live around 7:30pm ET on May 12th. The Steelers opponents were already determined months ago, but the specific time and date won’t be revealed until that night.






The NFL added a 17th game to the schedule for 2021 and the Steelers get the added bonus of an extra home game. The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has already announced the NFL plans to have full stadiums in 2021, so fans should expect to be back in Heinz Field in just a few short months.
