We escaped with a win but its a win and it counts toward the division and the conference should we being in contention for a playoff spot in the end.

But lets highlight some players that may have showed something we can look forward to during the rest of the season.

Wheaton: Played huge....good hands, got open, nice concentration on a couple catches and gettin those feet down. Play of the game on the catch with time winding down to put us in scoring position at the end. As time goes by, he and Ben should develope more chemistry and timing. I like him better than Emmanuel Sanders already. B+ grade

Shazier: Nice opening game...one near pick, a couple solid hits....was out of position on some plays but for a rookie in his first game, i think hes gonna be special. Dude is a missile. B- grade

Bell: LeVeon had a magnificent game....one of his best ...reliable hands, great patience and field vision....our backs havent displayed that in years. Showed nice burst on the TD run. B+ grade

Im not gonna be too hard on Jarvis...he still needs some work but you see glimpses of a player that can be a problem for an offense. Seems to be thinking too much. Nice sack which was all on his effort. He can be great.....i have hope for him C+ grade

I love the way AB owned Haden's ***. I am sick of hearing about how much of a shutdown corner he is. Brown. destroyed him..

My issues with jones and shazier and Timmons are they're all weak. We watched jones and shazier hit guys today as hard as they possibly could and neither one of hose hits actually brought he guy down. That's why teams run on us now we have no strength in the linebacking core. You can also see that when we rush we get no push. Not impressed with this team don't think it's a playoff caliber team but the arc is horrible so we be frauds and hide the fact were not a good team

Brown is a complete stud what a move paying him over wallace

There was a lot of good offensively. Bell, Brown, Wheaton, Ben, the OL. They can run a screen!!! Can you believe it? They didn't run the playclock down to ******' 1 second all the time.

Ben has to realize that with this defense there cannot be lulls. There just cannot.

They reminded me of a team that thought at halftime, "We got this." Let's just get outta here and get ready for Thursday. Teams with a lot of young guys have to figure out you can't do that.

special teams were good for what its worth,,

blitzburgh,, I think a b+ for bell is being a lil stingy.. I think he played great.

Sure nailed that one. I didn't like wallass but I also didn't see the star in Brown coming either.

Wallace had a pretty good day today.........but not as good as AB. Oh, and good riddance to Sanders as well. Wheaton looks like he'll fit in nicely.

With the exception of a few sucky plays by Gilbert, and one by Foster, the oline looked MUCH better. Just Brown also had a nice day. Defensively, William Gay brought it today.

I think they got into bell an Blount' s stash.

Let's not forget Kruger will give anyone trouble. Browns do have a very good D line.

Ohh im sure im being stingy..........i believe as you, he played great. But i have a feeling his best game (even better) is still somewhere in the chamber. So i was being a bit conservative on the grade. I can always edit the posting........... :-)

How can you forget about the most memorable part of the game?!?!?

There is no doubt that was the highlight of the game

face stomped like a *****

Didn't get to see the whole game due to DTV issues, but it came on just in time for me to see Heyward bull through his blocker and sack Hoyer. I don't know what he did all day, but he looked like a beast on that play at the end of the game.

FINISH HIM

O looked good, mostly, but yeah they have to learn to keep the pedal to the metal and score at least 30 every game because the D ain't all that good.
Bell looked like he was trying to make up for that weed bust.

LeVeon Bell's TD run was a thing of beauty. He faked several Browns right out of their shoes. If that was AP the media would be hanging all over his jock as the NFL Play of the Day.
