- Russ #1
- pickens-jefferson-austin 1-2-3 at wr
-Bishop starting at slot over everyone else
-Heyward at FB1
- moore still starting LT
I didn't think he graded out as the worst last year did he?Moore will remain the worst starting LT in the entire NFL again. Something wrong with this team.
Did Fautanu even get LT reps? I thought he played exclusively RTSo Moore is our starting LT....our #2 is our rookie Fautana. RT we have Jones our #2 there is Cook.
Sounds about right with a Tomlin led team.
Heyward at FB is underwhelming also. Who else do we have though? When we had a real FB on our roster we never really used him except mostly for special teams.

I think it's a Jedi mind trick to make Moore look like our starter (hot dang! He is a proven starter!) And increase his trade valueMusical chairs when it comes to establishing these OL to their job they hone. Never seems to fail that they get the least amount of time to climatize to actual position they end up playing, as opposed to playing their natural position from the get go………………
Salute the nation
If Moore isn’t going to start and can only play LT as we often hear then it makes sense to trade him. Not much value as a backup OL if you can only play one position.I think it's a Jedi mind trick to make Moore look like our starter (hot dang! He is a proven starter!) And increase his trade value
I don't think there is anything wrong with the players but I do think it is indicative of teams wanting to appear loyal to vets. Some food for thought. If Herbig really is the starter over Fraizer for example. How the hell did he not get a good look last year when Centre position was hot garbage. Also the Steelers are ready to package up three guys in a giveaway to SF when really the second thar is a part of the offer is good enough. BUT. Moore is a better option then the 1st round Tackle Futanu.Despite what most here think, Rookie starters arent really as common as people think... it was speculated after the draft that 19 teams total will have rookie starters this season.
Most of those are teams with no playoff aspirations who arent gonna be good...
Now that will fluctuate as certain teams judge guys more or less ready to start, but even among first rounders, teams prefer guys sit rather than be thrown into the role right away
I really dont know how people got it in their head that if a rookie isnt listed as a starter by the first depth chart, something is wrong with them or the team
I said it was meaningless. I didn't see Mad say that. And if it's meaningless why did you start thread? And three players started or would be considered starters last year. Porter, Broderick Jones and Benton. And the team vastly improved when they did.
Last I looked he did, but maybe he only ended up grading out 2nd or 3rd from very worst, I don't know.I didn't think he graded out as the worst last year did he?
Maybe they aren’t better yet from the aspect of prep. It is the exception not the rule that a rookie is ready right away. We haven’t even played a preseason game yet. Let the wailing and gnashing of teeth wait until the real games start and see where we are. I have no problem making the rookies earn their way in the preseason.I just think it is really indicative of Tomlin needing to be hit over the head that a rookie or newcomer is better then a vet. My only point. And maybe in his job as actual leader of this outfit (and in the interest of .500 or better) that might be wise.
I'm not wailing or gnashing. Can tell you if Futanu and Frazier can't win their positions by the first 3rd of the year don't even bother trading for Aiyuk. You aren't going anywhere anyhow. Just draft wr. First round next year.Maybe they aren’t better yet from the aspect of prep. It is the exception not the rule that a rookie is ready right away. Troy is getting first team reps as of yesterday. I expect Frazier to take little longer. He has had some snap issues.I'm not wailing or gnashing. Relax it is the 1st depth chart not the lastMoore will remain the worst starting LT in the entire NFL again. Something wrong with this team.
More proof he pays no attention to camp where things shifted yesterday. This list is virtually meaningless.Relax it is the 1st depth chart not the last
Was it "meaningless" last year? Moore ended up the starting LT didn't he?More proof he pays no attention to camp where things shifted yesterday. This list is virtually meaningless.
