What taxes has he PREPOSED to raise on the poor? Eliminating subsidies is not raising your taxes. Of course all of this would be a moot point if we would scrap the income tax entirely and go to the FairTax.

The irony is my daughter didn't qualify for any tuition assistance so I have to pay full price. But her roommate, full ride because her mother is on disability for pain med addiction and a single mother. Badcat works stressful job, military veteran, and stays clean = Pay up mutha!!

Asian Americans are now starting to sue universities including Harvard for discrimination. It appears that many college now set a hard limit on the number of asians they will accept. I believe in California they even made it legal to blatantly discriminate against asians in this way.
Funny how asians never seem to get counted as minorities. The can’t because they disprove all of the race hustler narratives that America is racist and minorites can’t succeed just by working hard.

Yup, the reward you get if you are responsible and save up and have a college fund for your kids is you get to pay full price, while other people who didn't do that go for free. We should've taken a lot more vacations and bought more stuff, we might get some financial aid. We are suckers.
This whole tax thingy scares me. There are tow parts that scare me. 1) Why, after all these years, would the Government do something for me. 2) The part about eliminating the deductions for state and local taxes.

There is a lot of truth to this. Where my kids go to high school is one of the tops in the state and they took full honors and AP classes and both worked hard to be distinguished honors (straight A's)... And the Asian kids kicked my kids ***** grade wise. While my wife and I did our best to make sure they tried an instrument, the Asian parents demanded it. My kids played sports and joined clubs and took part in charities and built up impressive resumes, at least I thought. At graduation, my daughter graduated with honors and we were so proud. The Asian kids graduated with honors and we're heading to Harvard, Penn, Stanford on academic scholarships with SAT scores in outer space. Say what you will, but I thought I was tough on preaching academics...those Asian parents know what's up.
This is not correct. He's not raising taxes on the poor. Also this isn't the Democrat trickle down theory where it trickles down into their pockets. Look around in your town how many jobs are there now? How many new stores are opening? You can judge for yourself. If nothing has started changing, it will. Start calling your congress & Senate offices to make sure their not blocking anything you town should be getting.

Never. That's why we elected Trump.
I think it’s a great that you’re daughters’s roomate is going to be able to get an education and become a contributing, TAX PAYING, member of society rather than be stuck in a cycle of poverty that so many young people get sucked into through no fault of their own. Seeing as how a person can’t choose who gives birth to them, it’s good thing that there are options for kids that choose to take advantage of them. When you consider all of the things our government pisses away our money on, investing in a kid’s future isn’t such a horrible thing.

I couldnt get FEMA aid after Irma came through because I paid for insurance...
My kid couldnt get financial aid because I busted my *** to earn a good living (also a veteran)
My wife can't get disability because she quit work to raise our kids
There is a lesson in there somewhere, but i think it makes you racist if you complain.
