North Carolina is a MUST win for Trump to have ANY chance. That poll certainly puts the race in a different light for me.

Also, I know that elfiePoloFakeEbonics was talking about one computer model from the NYT indicating that Hillary had a 98% chance of victory. That model is vastly less compelling to me than Nate Silver's. Silver has Hillary comfortably ahead in terms of likely winner, but that number is down to 71%, where the model presumes that Hillary wins North Carolina and Florida.

If the latest polling from North Carolina is accurate, then the number drops. If the numbers from Florida show it going to Trump, then the number drops considerably.

I am in NC often, and as of this weekend, I have seen nothing but Trump signs everywhere. 4 years ago, I saw very few Romney signs.

If that is any indication, i think he will do better then most thought he would do 9 months ago in NC.
