Okay, you guys cannot be serious about this right? Right? If so, I'm out. You treat people the way you want to be treated. Hanging, beheading, public executions, and disembowelment. Thats some sick **** right there and anyone condoning this type of behavior needs to go see a doctor ASAP.

Kudos to you 43, good to see there are still a few sane posters that frequent this side of the board.

Sleepy Creepy is going to have to drop out soon. He can't cover this up. And it shows how ridiculous this impeachment witch hunt is.

The United States Senate is probing whether a lobbying firm working on the behalf of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian oil and gas conglomerate, leveraged the company’s ties to Hunter Biden for access to the State Department.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA), the chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, sent a letter to Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Wednesday asking his department to provide all records pertaining to Hunter Biden, Burisma, and any intermediaries. In particular, Grassley requested the State Dept. provide further information about meetings Blue Star Strategies, a Washington, D.C. based lobbying and public relations firm, sought with U.S. officials in 2016 to discuss public corruption allegations against Burisma.

The letter comes after a Freedom of Information ACT (FOIA) lawsuit revealed representatives of Blue Star Strategies specifically invoked Hunter Biden, who at the time sat on Burisma’s board of directors, when trying to secure the meeting. At the time, Burisma and its founder, Mykola Zlochevsky, were under suspicion for money laundering and public corruption. The allegations stem from Zlochevsky’s tenure as Ukraine’s minister of ecology and natural resources in the early 2010s, where it is purported he used his position to approve oil and gas licenses for Burisma.

Grassley’s letter was sent in conjunction with Sen. Ron Johnson (R-WI), the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee. Both men have taken a keen interest in Hunter Biden’s business dealings overseas and the potential conflicts of interest they may have posed for his father, former Vice President Joe Biden, throughout his tenure in the Obama administration. In this instance, Grassely and Johnson are investigating whether the meeting with Blue Star and U.S. officials ever took place and if it influenced Obama administration policy towards Ukraine.

Only one month after the meeting request was made, then-Vice President Biden issued an ultimatum to then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko: either the government fire its top prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, or the U.S. would rescind upwards of $1 billion in aid.

According to Biden’s official recollection of the incident, he issued the ultimatum on behalf of then-President Barack Obama, who had lost faith in Shokin’s ability to root out corruption. Unofficially, though, it was well known that that Shokin was ramping up his investigation into both Burisma and Zlochvesky.

Shokin’s probe had progressed far enough that he was able to convince the Ukrainian courts in early 2016 to seize Zlochvesky’s remaining assets in the country. The oligarch only evaded arrest because he was already hiding abroad after having fled Ukraine in 2014, when a pro-western uprising toppled his allies in the country’s then-pro-Russian government.

Adding to the appearance of conflicting interests behind the former vice president’s decision to oust Shokin is that the prosecutor has claimed he was preparing to interview Hunter Biden about his Burisma tenure when he was fired.

The revelations come into the spotlight as questions mount as to how Hunter Biden was able to secure an appointment to Burisma’s board in the first place. As Peter Schweizer, senior contributor at Breitbart News, detailed in his book Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends, Hunter Biden secured the position, which paid as much as $83,000 per month, despite having no background in energy or Ukraine.

Adding to the appearance of impropriety is the fact that Hunter Biden joined Burisma at a time the company was seen as actively courting western leaders to prevent further scrutiny of its business practices. The same month the younger’s Biden appointment was announced, the government of Great Britain froze accounts belonging to Burisma founder Mykola Zlochevsky under suspicion of money laundering. Zlochevsky, a former Ukrainian minister of natural resources, would later be accused of corruption for using his office to approve oil and gas licenses to Burisma.

A Ukrainian official with strong ties to Zlochevsky admitted in October the only reason that Hunter Biden secured the appointment was to “protect” the company from foreign scrutiny. The claim has credence given that at the time Joe Biden, as the sitting vice president, was tasked with leading the Obama administration’s policy towards Ukraine in response to Russia’s invasion of Crimea.

Hunter Biden, himself, admitted his father’s political influence was the likely reason for his appointment to Burisma’s board during a recent ABC News interview.

“I don’t know. I don’t know. Probably not, in retrospect,” the younger Biden said when asked if he would have been tapped for the lucrative job had his father not been the sitting vice president. He quickly added, though, that his family’s political prominence had always played a large role in his dealings. “But that’s—you know—I don’t think that there’s a lot of things that would have happened in my life if my last name wasn’t Biden.”

Nope, nothing shady at all about this:

The Obama administration allowed former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter to continue working for Ukrainian company Burisma, even after learning that the firm and its owner were corrupt, top U.S. State Department official George Kent testified, according to transcripts released Thursday.
Hunter served on Burisma’s board of directors from 2014 until April of this year.

In 2014, the U.S. spent hundreds of thousands in American taxpayer funds on assisting an investigation into corrupt activities linked to Burisma owner Mykola Zlochevsky, Kent revealed.

During his closed-door deposition on October 15, Kent told House impeachment investigators that he raised concerns about Biden’s lucrative position in 2015.

According to the transcripts, Kent, a deputy assistant secretary charged with overseeing U.S. policy towards Ukraine, testified:

The first time I was in Ukraine as acting deputy chief of mission in the period of mid-January to mid-February 2015, subsequent to me going into the deputy prosecutor general on February 3rd and demanding who took the bribe and how much was it to shut the case against Zlochevsky I became aware that Hunter Biden was on the board. I did not know that at the time.

And when I was on a call with somebody on the vice president’s staff and I cannot recall who it was, just briefing on what was happening into Ukraine I raised my concerns that I had heard that Hunter Biden was on the board of a company owned by somebody that the U.S. Government had spent money trying to get tens of millions of dollars back and that could create the perception of a conflict of interest.

Trump says you might want to look into that, and the libtards go OMG! OMG! Peach! Peach! Peach! ******* morons.

History has shown, that public executions can have an effect on behaviour.

I say bring them back.

My preference is firing squad, although I can be convinced otherwise.

I still prefer the guillotine, nothing says 'death penalty' quite like the thunk when the head hits the basket

say what you will about the french, but they knew how to throw an execution party

The first person to have his head cleaved off was highwayman Nicolas Jacques Pelletier in 1792. Like most past executions it was conducted in public, but some in the crowd complained that it was over too soon and chanted for the return of the gallows. But generally the execution was thought to be a success.

The guillotine was used on political prisoners, the highest profile being King Louis XVI on January 21, 1793. Some stories say that when his head was picked up afterwards and slapped, the cheek reddened. During the “Reign of Terror” from 1793 to 1794 the guillotine was lopping heads sometimes at a rate of 300 a day.

Yeah, you're right I probably should. However, conservatives get labeled all kinds of things and when things like this get posted, it just reinforces those labels and makes it even harder to get people who don't believe the same things we do to even understand where we're coming from. Just my opinion though. So carry on I guess.

Dems been acting like the "whistleblower" was super-secret and now we find out that Schiff forgot to redact his name from the report. :waving:

Now that's funny right there. Schiff is such an idiot.

I recommend this for Schitt, Obama, Kankles and all the other traitors:

The Brutal Story Of William Wallace’s Execution That 'Braveheart' Wouldn't Show You Noelle Talmon

William Wallace was a Scottish knight active during the late 13th and early 14th century, and an instrumental figure during the Scottish wars for independence. Many people wonder what really happened to William Wallace, and how William Wallace actually died. In 1297, he defeated an English army and was subsequently named Guardian of Scotland. A few years later, in 1305, he was captured and sentenced to death by King Edward I of England for treason and other crimes.

The death of William Wallace was brutal. He was hanged, drawn, and quartered. William Wallace's execution was featured in the 1995 film Braveheart, which was directed by and starred Mel Gibson. What happened on film was very different from what happened in real life, however. The Braveheart inaccuracies include Wallace's death scene, which was severely toned down and did not portray the torture and pain that the real Wallace endured before crossing over into whatever it is that comes next.

Wallace Was Dragged Naked For Six Miles Through The London Streets

According to legend, Wallace's enemies took him from Westminster Hall, where he was tried and found guilty of treason - the punishment for which was drawing. He was forced to remove all of his clothing and tied to horses, which dragged him approximately six miles away to Smoothfield.

While the horses were pulling him, bystanders threw garbage, excrement, and other objects at Wallace as he made the journey to the gallows. They also hit him with sticks and whips. In the film, the crowd at the gallows pelted Gibson with rotten food and other objects, but he is wearing clothes and not covered in human excrement.

Then, He Was Hung - But Not To Death

After being dragged naked through the streets of London, Wallace was hanged. He was hanged as punishment for robbery and homicide. Dying in this traditional way wouldn't have been adequate punishment for Wallace's purported crimes in the eyes of the British monarchy, however.

Rather, being strung up from the gallows was just another step in an unbelievably drawn-out execution.

The Executioner 'Emasculated' Him And Burned His Intestines In Front Of His Face

Once Wallace was secured, his executioner sliced off both his penis and testicles (called "emasculation"). Then, the executioner removed his intestines (known as "disembowelment" or "evisceration") and burned them, making sure Wallace witnessed the act. He was disemboweled for sacrilege.

After The Disemboweling, His Heart Was Ripped From His Chest

The mark of a truly exceptional executioner was that they could not only pull the heart out of a criminal's chest, but they could also keep it beating the whole time. While there's no record of Wallace's hangman's success in terms of keeping his heart beating, Wallace did have his heart removed after his entrails and genitals.

The hangman then declared, "Behold the heart of a traitor," as he held it up for the crowd to see.
Then, He Was Beheaded

After Wallace was beheaded, he was quartered, which entails all four limbs being tied to separate horses, which then pull apart the body. Afterwards, Wallace's quartered remains were put on display around London as a warning. A piece each was hung at Berwick, St. Johnston, Stirling, and Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

In the film, a voiceover by Robert the Bruce describes how Wallace's body was torn into pieces and his head and limbs were displayed all over Britain as a warning to enemies of England. Wallace was quartered for "divers depredations."

Wallace's head was fixed atop a spike and put it on London Bridge so everyone could see it.

Katsung! Where you been???

For me the irony is that it was socialist progressives doing the killing with those guillotines. It sure wasnt conservatives.

Why are you being so racist?

Psst...you hang here long enough, you will get it.

What is sick? A 3 year coup attempt. It's in a big flashing red sign. I've never seen anything like it. A lot of treasonous **** going on.

All the dramatic execution stuff is just for shock value. It would certainly be a deterrent. I could think of many on death row who should be going out nice and nasty as well.

Julius and Ethel Rosenberg got it for espionage in 51. Got the chair in 53. That's quick the way it should be.

We're all very sane living in a very insane world.

Please! A dozen witnesses all independently came to the same incorrect conclusion? If that’s the case, Trump should resign for being a terrible communicator. The politicians and talking heads defending Trump are touting ridiculous and debunked conspiracy theories because they simply cannot admit the truth: Trump is extraordinarily corrupt and they simply don’t care.

You don’t have to pretend you believe them, what you say doesn’t matter. You’re not going to hurt or expose Trump. You’ll only concede you don’t really care about corruption and the swamp that is our federal government.

Passionate opinions have little consequence in matters like impeachment hearings and science. You libs think if you get enough "credible" people ranting about the same thing, then it should be treated as fact. You all are really confused about how the world works.

Please! A dozen witnesses all independently came to the same incorrect conclusion? .

They all came to the same conclusions because Schitt only allowed those conclusions to testify. And all they had were biased opinions and hurt feelings.
We all saw the transcript of the phone call before this circus. Everything else was a Schitt fairytale.
