Steelers are trying to downplay bringing him for a visit but who knows?

I've seen him look good at times, but mostly unrefined. He needs work, which he definitely will have some time to do here at least a year or maybe two. I think they will only take a shot on him a little later considering our needs at C, RT, DL, WR and CB. Those are 5 REAL needs right there.

Penix is an inconsistent passer. When he's good, he's real good, but doesn't bring it every week. Really struggles when pressured. Big arm and great with the deep ball, so a skill fit with what they have in Wilson. Biggest red flag is his injury history. Major injuries while at Indiana.

We've had numerous excel and learn on other teams when they left Pittsburgh. They talked about it too.

I have a question for you. If the head coach doesn't do X and O's, doesn't put players in the best position to succeed for him and the team. What exactly is he doing that is better than mediocre?

His ability to craft a quick one liner is well above the line. He looks impressive in Ray-Bans. They say the players want to play for him, but DJ did not, Pickett did not. Pickens and several others just do whatever the hell they want. He's a defensive coach, but always has multiple layers of excuse to insulate him. And whenever a position group has an issue it gets attempt to solve in the off season.

Always with the bs nonsense that he spews out that his supporters in the sports media think makes him great, but he’s no more than an average coach propped up to be more than he is.
Just listen to some of these idiots like Jay Glazer who says Mike will leave when he wants to leave.
