What you think the GM/Coaches should do regarding roster. Since the team is doing so well and we have not much to look forward to based on the way the team has been performing of late. Lets look at what you would do if given the job of rebuilding the mess that has become the Steelers. List players on the roster that you would keep to become part of the future core to build around. List players you are likely to keep as role players to fill in gaps. List players you think you would trade so you can acquire a future draft pick, picks must be realistic values for example no golden for first rounder.

Put in your strategy on any part or the whole thing, it might provide some interesting things to talk about and who knows the clueless team leaders might read it and fix the damn problems. It might provide a diversion from the Tomlin is an idiot you are a racist crap that is always on here.

So I'll start with what I think might be core players that we could have for at least 5 years. Brown, DeCastro, Pouncey, Bell on Defense Shazier, McCullers, Tuitt, Spence and Thomas. We have mostly guys on the team that could be role players and long term vets that are on the down side of the curve are not listed. I don't count Ben because he may not last another 5 years here. J. Jones as I don't think he lives up to his draft status, Timmons will not likely last 5 years etc.

Really. It's quite simple you finally get rid of the car salesmen biggest joke in the league mike Tomlin and build from there

not just Tomlin the coordinators too

As much as I like stability and the Steelers way, drastic measures need to happen. I have no issue with firing LeBeau and/or Haley this week. I also think Tomlin needs to go but he may wait until the end of the season. This team has too much talent on offense to be as inept as they are right now. Ben also doesn't seem to be himself. Sure, Wheaton dropped that first pass in the first half but the next two were bad throws by Ben. It's not all coaching right now but it is a huge part. This is the 3rd year in a row. Drastic times call for drastic measures. Something needs to happen this week.

Too many years of poor drafting on defense and the O-line has caught up. They have used 2 first and 2 second round picks on the o-line and 3 firsts and a second on LBs and they are the worst units on the team. You can't miss on as many picks as they have lately and remain competitive. CB and unfortunately LB need to be priority in next year's draft and FA.

They need to work on replacing Troy now. Worilds fooled most of us including me, and he needs to be gone. The heart of the Steelers' problems continues to be lack of pass rush, and there is no one on the roster that will make it better. Consider the Steelers could have signed Dumerville and didn't even try. Or Kruger for that matter. I don't care how good the secondary is, no pass rush equals losers.

As for the offense, I don't even know where to start. The line is OK, great RBs, solid QB, at least one good receiver. It all points to Haley. But the other WRs have to step up.

Kyle Shanahan is a better play caller than Haley...that was obvious today. And....Cleveland used the cutback today...allowed the def linemen to flow in the direction of the play and use the cutback for nice gains.

Something has to change
