Blount released..

Depends what gang.
giphy.gif

I approve this comeback

I was going to google "gay gang pics" just to find a good one to post here, but I don't need that **** popping up on my sidebar when I'm looking at my yahoo email. My wife already gives me a hard time because there are always "meet mature ladies in your town" ads there. I guess I need to start looking at more gun websites.

Steelers | Steelers interested in Ben Tate?

Tue, 18 Nov 2014 11:32:40 -0800

Free-agent RB Ben Tate (Browns) may already have drawn interest from the Pittsburgh Steelers after being released by the Cleveland Browns Tuesday, Nov. 18. A Steelers staff member reportedly called a Cleveland Browns staff member asking about Tate's release.

Fantasy Tip: This move would make sense considering the Steelers just released LeGarrette Blount. Tate would obviously still play second fiddle behind Le'Veon Bell if this were to develop into anything finite. Tate could still hold some fantasy value if he is used on passing downs or in goal line situations. If you can afford it, try holding on to Tate until we know his next destination.

IF Ben Tate were to get an opportunity to wear a Steeler jersey he better have his mind straight as to who the feature back on this team is. Enough of the prima donna drama for crissakes this is football not the goddam nail salon.

That or clear your history and cookies regularly or better yet hit Cntrl + Shift + N if you're using Google Chrome.

Lets be real here. Even if Peterson went to the penitentiary, nobody in there is gonna beat his ***. If anything he'll have a following of adoring "fans" who protect him. Unless someone's trying to get him with a surprise shank, he would make quick work of just about any fool who "got too familiar"
And you know all about prison life because.....?

And you know all about prison life because.....?

Not trying to embarrass you, so dont get all ****** about it. Just seems to be what I'd consider the most likely turn of events, if a stay at the pen came to pass for Adrian.

I don't know why any of you guys would even want Tate anyway, but that's just me. He's always hurt, was disgruntled in Cleveland and has no experience outside the Shanahan / Kubiak zone-blocking system. He was only averaging 3.1 yards per carry in Cleveland (behind a damn good offensive line).

There is the perfect replacement already out there. We just have to wait for him to be reinstated. I'm talking about Ray Rice.

I expect venom for this opinion, but his running style matches what Bell can do, plus he's a threat to catch out of the backfield. Additionally, in a pinch, Rice could start in case Bell was injured, and we wouldn't have to change our offense.

As much as you may hate the guy for domestic abuse, and there is no way I'd defend him for what he did, but you can be damn sure it wouldn't happen again if he gets a second chance.

Im all for forgiving and moving on....he made a mistake, paid for his crime. I just dont think we sign ex-Ratbirds.

We have our replacement

Josh Harris to the rescue!

Hmmm, I get those ads too, along with how I can grow hair, have a bigger schlong, and buy Viagara cheap in Canada. I'll be hitting the gun sites too, lol.

Probably gets another shot if someone gets desperate... but the end of his career will be here fast if he doesn't man up and learn to be part of a team....

Harris looks like Willie Parker with out the fast part. Not bad as a second or third back or an emergency back. He will likely be able to give Bell a break for a play here or there during the game to allow a short breather after a long run or solid hit. That will be a good thing to have.

LeGarrette Blount - RB - Free Agent

LeGarrette Blount went unclaimed on waivers.

He's free to sign with any team.

Yep that goes to show other teams are wary now too.

Dumbass, just be the good team-mate, rah rah, run the ball when you're asked to, play out two years, collect millions of dollars. No? That too hard for you? Dumb ****.

Joe

I could see giving the benefit of the doubt. A "Man, the guy's just determined, champing at the bit to.contribute" sort of thing.

But come on, dumbass. You're backing up Le'Veon Bell. You got signed for less than $2M a year and your total bonus was less than a million. You were expecting to, what, split reps 50/50? Compete for the job? Steal carries away on a 200-yard night? Idiot.

Naw man, he saw the writing on the wall.

I imagined when he first signed, he figured Bell would be pretty solid back- and that he would probably grab somewhere around 60-70% of the carries.

Then Blount watches him tear it up all year. Then he watches the Tenn game- and soon realizes that Bell may be better than just pretty good.

That Bell may actually be better in every aspect of RB than he is, as a 2nd year player.
That his percent of the carries may actually be closer to 10-20% instead of 30-40%

But yea, dumb of him to just sacrifice $$ bc of his pride. He shoulda waited until the end of the year and asked to be released

He may not have had to ask.

OK once again all kinds of people have concluded that this was about playing time. To the point they are now giving percentages of carries Blount was expecting to get. And yet it's been reported that players had a problem with him for a while - when he was getting playing time.
There very well be a lot more to the story.

Blount maybe going back to the Patriots.. according to Adam Schefter

Pats message board states a 2 year deal. By his comments in preseason...sounded like he never wanted to leave NE.

Good signing by Belichek. He has a way of getting these headaches to produce.
