Let's not forget everything Trump touches turns to gold. Nike sales up, Woodward book sales through the roof. Trump is his own worst enemy, but we knew that already. NYT columnist: Woodward's book will have a 'decisive effect' on midterms

Everyone who hates Trump will have their feelings confirmed. Everybody who loves Trump will say he's being treated unfairly and dishonestly.

And then there are the folks like me who know a lot of the stuff reported about him is probably true but also know the alternatives are much worse.

So I really don't see this book having much effect on the midterms.

Ultimately both sides have passionate reasons to go to the polls and historically Dems lose those kinds of contests because they are a party filled with college kids and lazy hippies who don't vote. We'll see if they really hate Trump enough to actually pull their heads out of their ***** this time.

It's all going to be about turnout.

Woodward is a dried up crusty old hack. And a libtard.

Two former key aides to President Donald Trump are denying quotes and actions attributed to them in a new book by Bob Woodward, they said in Tuesday statements.

“This book does not accurately portray my experience at the White House,” former NEC Director Gary Cohn said in a Tuesday statement. “I am proud of my service in the Trump Administration, and I continue to support the President and his economic agenda.”

Woodward alleged that Cohn once took key trade documents off Trump’s desk and disparaged his intelligence frequently. Cohn was joined by disgraced White House staff secretary Rob Porter in denying elements of the book.

Porter also told Axios and other news outlets “having now read Bob Woodward’s Fear, I am struck by the selective and often misleading portrait it paints of the President and his administration,” adding “during my time in the White House, I sought to serve the President’s best interests and to help enable his many successes—successes that Mr. Woodward’s book ignores.”
