I don't think I've ever witnessed a regular season crowd like that at Heinz Field. Even in the playoffs. We stood for the entire fouth quarter. It was so ******* loud. The here we go chant was alive and well for the first time in years. I salute everyone else that was at the game and can't speak today. Renegade twice. That was just the place to be yesterday.

Playoff atmosphere from start to finish. Even when the team was down, there was still a buzz in the crowd. It was actually too jacked late and a lot wouldn't keep quiet for the offense.

Happy to hear that the crowd was into it!

Steeler fans standing during the game used to be a given....not so much lately...

Those of you who get to attend something like that should consider yourself very very fortunate. Saved a summer's worth of rec football ref money to see a pretty workman like win over the Jets. I get goose bumps thinking about it. Can only imagine something like last night. TV is great but life is about atmosphere and that cannot be duplicated.

As I said earlier Sask...

You have to be there to believe it!

Maybe you can make a "big" game someday....although, any Steeler game is a good one to attend...

Was awesome. Was getting frustrated with the ******* refusing to stand on the other side of us but eventually they got up.

Well I'm gonna be dead honest with you. Its real hard to pick a big game like last night when you look at the schedule in April. It costed $1300 for airfare for two, $140/night for a fairly ****** room in Carniegie (thanks for being fair with the taxi fares Pittsburgh Wayne) and around $200 a pop for nose bleeds. When you think how injuries etc. could affect the season its pretty hard to bank on something like that. I tend to pick easier, earlier in the season match ups).

That is what I dont understand man..

The house is rockin...game of the year and against our historic rival...and there are some people that wont even get their ***** out their seats!

I can tell you I stood and watched the whole game at my brother-in-laws house in New Jersey...Non-Steeler fans at the Xmas party couldn't understand why? lol

They kept asking me if I wanted to sit down!

Yeah I was on the end and I started going up and down the steps trying to get the people up. Lots of them finally stood but it was like a punishment.

I know of a season ticket holder that leaves every game midway through the 4th quarter to beat traffic. Every game, no matter the circumstances.

What. The. ****?

My parents were rowdy last night. Lol. That's the type of game it was. I don't know if I'm suffering from PAWS cause I gave up drinking after halloween, but I felt relaxed and dream like. The sideline sweatsuits are really comfy too, so that's probably what was keeping me down in the sofa. My son fell asleep in my lap too. But when the Steelers were down 17-10 I felt good and knew the team would come back. Go to the 7:16 mark in the 4th, Heinz played renegade(for us tv viewers) that's when the crowd was really livid

Also unacceptable...

I guess he likes to listen to Hillgrove and Tunch on the Parkway?

He is a friend of my friends. He invites them to games and it annoys the hell out of them but they feel bad declining the free tickets or making an issue about leaving early. I told them they're also ******* nuts.

I was at the Browns playoff game with the big comeback led by Tommy Maddox. I found out a co-worker had given up and left that game at halftime. When I gave him a hard time he got all annoyed and explained it was blowout and the weather was bad - like I was an idiot for having stayed.

I was there with my family. Was an amazing atmosphere. I've been to a good amount of games and must say, that was probably the loudest and one of the most intense game I've been to. Everyone in my section stood almost the entire game. Two renegades were played.. absolutely epic! It was a roller coaster of emotion, can hardly talk today but wouldn't have it any other way.
Had a whole row of raven's fans sitting behind us, extremely annoying group of people in their 20s who knew nothing about football and only started cheering once ravens took the lead. They left after ravens took their last lead thinking the game was over, which was really unfortunate for us as they would have been totally embarrassed with the outcome after their gloating when the ravens scored . The here we go chant was alive and well during the game AND after the game as everyone was walking out of Heinz. Everyone was so fired up, it was a beautiful thing.

Overall, a great Christmas day... hope everyone else had a great Christmas, as well.

On tv you could here the crowd in the 4rth quarter, nothing in 2q and 3 q. was that just the tv channel not airing it or was the crowd quiet?

Man you guys that get to go to multiple games a year are lucky! I'm jealous as ****.
I've only been able to make 1 game at Heinz, back in 12 against the Rats, with Ben out with injury as luck would have it. I seriously had a tear in my eye seeing the stadium for the first time. It was something I've dreamed of my whole life. Hopefully I can make the trip for one next year, and we win.

But I believe I did get to witness Lefty end his career on that TD run. Lol

went to season opener, with my children years ago. Against Houston. Great weather and a great time.

Dom treated my boys like kings, and we had an amazing weekend.

I'd make an excuse on meeting him at the game instead of riding with him, and then when he goes to leave tell him I'm staying. **** that I'd rather pay than leave in the 4th.
