Conference Championship Games

Consider... we probably make way too much about those things in this fanbase... case in point, there are wannabe social media influencers on every damn tean but juju gets eaten alive for it here...

I mean nfl teams are chock full of greedy, entitled, me first, egotistical, spoiled brats... of course you can win with them.. they are on every team... you just cant let their agendas get ahead of the teams own... thats on management...

Good response.

Hmmm, wondered what happened to LB this game. Didn't know he was a healthy scratch.

This is the way the Chiefs play. We can score a ton of points we know it you know it. Our defense isn't that good, but we are going to throw the kitchen sink at you and you are going to make mistakes. You will catch us sometimes, but those turnovers will become 7 and you know you cannot make mistakes.

From my standpoint, this is a blah Super Bowl matchup. Although I can't stand Rodgers, Buffalo-Green Bay was probably the most interesting for me.

Kc has played ****** football for several months... they clawed out wins for weeks... even vs bad teams... that d is built to play aggressively from ahead though... heck KC had several games where Mahomes threw should have been picks to lose the game that were dropped or ruled dpi... there was a real chance they could have been a two seed this season

even so, they are in the SB again and just beat a really good Bills team tonight to get there. I don't see another complete team in the NFL like KC. They can turn it on as quickly as anyone. I really thought Buffalo was going to get it done tonight, but was wrong.

My god the Bills coached worse than the Pack. These damn coaches have no idea when to go for two and they are obsessed with friggen FGs. There's no Pats*, but this SB still friggen blows. **** it.

Steelers were terrible for this too. You win the game by scoring the most points. If the card says go for two **** the card until it ties the game in the fourth quarter. Period. They act like the score will stay static. The Packers tried to claw 5points to 3 points when the game was still in play. TBay ends up kicking a field goal and now its eight in stead of 7. Just take the ****** points.

If Kansas City brings it in 2 weeks, the way they did tonight, they are going to slaughter Tampa Bay.

Yep, exactly, it's infuriating. Some of these games come down to just a couple of plays. You can't afford to be situationally stupid. Yet, so many of these guys are.

We need a mobile QB on todays NFL. Defenses are becoming too sophisticated to let a pocket passer just sit back and pick them apart and big plays are more often than not a result of a QB breaking containment and letting his receivers break free.

I wondered what was up with him too. Apparently he’s got something going on with his knee. I think he was listed as questionable.

so what did I miss at the end of the second quarter in the Tampa/GB game. I turned the radio on and the announcers were all but calling the GB coaches/players idiots.

look at how the Chiefs are using Mathieu and then how the steelers are using Minkah and it's frustrating

This is the money post of the week right here. If Cools shades is still here when they pay through the nose for Minkah it will be a complete joke. A midlevel safety could do what they ask of him.

I brought this up in the Browns playoff thread, Tomlin used Minkah like a cover 2 safety all game, instead of letting him make plays, it was the reason why all the quick hitting **** was so open and took our pass rush out of the game.

There were like less than 10 seconds left and TBay was out of time outs. The Packers went Cover three and the corner on the outside left (from Tampa's view) used a shuffle technique as you would in cover 3 zone, but had eyes on the backfield. He got ****** depth and the WR just ran right by him. Because he was in shuffle he couldn't re acquire the receiver. It seemed kinda like the Jets Gaffe against the Raiders. It kinda seemed like they were trying to stop a boundary play that could have been a field goal and ended up giving up a TD. Then they came out and fumbles on a Third down pass short of the sticks. So it was 14 points in less than 2 min of play. Brady threw three picks in the game, but that sequence by the Pack lost them the game.

Not just the Browns game, most of the year. Minkah 1st team all pro is a joke.

Ok, thanks, wow, that is some stupid ****, LOL.

Agreed, and when I see that, all that goes through my head is Tomlin saying I call defense differently when Ben starts. Look at how Minkah and the defense played in 2019, alot more aggressively, why not call the defense aggressively all the damn time.

Finally get rid of the Pats and now we have to endure "nobody can beat the Chief's" for a decade.....

I guess its a good time for the Steelers to rebuild....

The Chiefs O lit up the Bills and really didn't run much traditionally. With CEH to be fully healthy and Williams running well, that will only help them in the SB. Their O team speed is ridiculous.

eh. i like andy reid and mahomes, i don't mind 'em if they create a dynasty. much rather it be them and not someone like jerruh and the boys. not like the Steelers are building one of their own anytime soon.

I was amazed seeing LBs covering WRs in both games. I thought that only happened with PIT.
