I made one move - to pick up extra picks...

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 21 (PHI): JK Dobbins, RB, Ohio State (A-)
Round 4 Pick 18: Jalen Hurts, QB, Oklahoma (A+)
Round 4 Pick 21 (PHI): Jon Runyan, OG, Michigan (A+)
Round 4 Pick 22: Alohi Gilman, FS/SS, Notre Dame (A)
Round 5 Pick 8: Carter Coughlin, DE/OLB, Minnesota (A+)
Round 5 Pick 26 (PHI): Pete Werner, OLB, Ohio State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 18: Drew Richmond, OT, USC (A+)
Round 7 Pick 18: Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor (A)

****, if we got Dobbins, that would make the draft. Too bad he probably won't make it out of the first round if he runs a sub 4.4 like it has been reported he runs.

Round 2 Pick 18: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU (A+)
Round 4 Pick 18: Cesar Ruiz, C, Michigan (B+)
Round 4 Pick 22: Saahdiq Charles, OT, LSU (A+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Chubba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State (A+)
Round 6 Pick 18: Antoine Brooks, FS/SS, Maryland (A+)
Round 7 Pick 18: Dru Chrisman, P, Ohio State (B-)

With Fitz & Edmonds, why the safety? And no TE, which is a bigger need.

I’d love Dobbins but if he’s available at 2:21, he must have suffered a significant injury that has prevented him from participating in the combine and pro day. I think RB is the position the Steelers don’t address and they hope Connor can stay healthy and Snell improves.

You may be right about picking a RB. Plus, Whyte showed a lot of promise. So many teams heading into the playoffs were winning with their 2nd and 3rd string RB's leading the way. The difference between them and the Steelers is they had above average (not great mind you) run blocking. But, if Dobbins is still there (barring an injury as you mentioned), he would be too good to pass up. He is a legit 3 down back and difference maker. I'm not an OSU homer as I am a PSU fan but I saw him play several times this year and the dude is a stud. I think of him as Barkley light.

traded back and still got Dobbins...

Your score is: 32621 (GRADE: B-)

Your Picks:
Round 2 Pick 20 (LAR): JK Dobbins, RB, Ohio State (A-)

Round 4 Pick 22: Levonta Taylor, CB, Florida State (A)
Round 5 Pick 8: Anthony Hines, OLB, Texas A&M (A+)
Round 6 Pick 18: Scott Lashley, OT, Alabama (A+)
Round 7 Pick 18: Benito Jones, DT, Mississippi (A+)

Round 2 Pick 18: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn (B+)
Round 4 Pick 18: Chubba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State (A+)
Round 4 Pick 22: Dontavious Jackson, OLB, Florida State (A+)
Round 5 Pick 8: Mitchell Wilcox, TE, South Florida (A)

Yes! Much like Barkley, Dobbins is a rare combination of strength and speed.

The thing I hate about first pick is their trades are soooooo unrealistic. Fanspeak imo is much more realistic.

RD2- Chris Weavers OLB/EDGE Boise State
Dupree I feel gets tagged but I’m not sold a long term deal can be worked out with Watts looming contract. Weavers dominated lesser competition but I feel a year of NFL training and coaching can bring him up to speed. Weaver has a relentless motor, long arms, great first step, and even though hand placement isn’t ideal he uses them and wins with it. He looks like he could drop 15lbs and gain functional strength and speed.

RD3- Najee Harris RB Alabama
We need a reliable feature back and even though I love Conner he is just not it. Coming into a contract year we need to figure this out now. Harris is a big back with nimble feet, good long speed, and A+ hands.

RD4a- Antoine Winfield jr. S/DB Minnesota
I love Mike Hilton but I feel we RFA tag him a 2nd round tender and let him walk next year. Winfield IMO can play safety or nickel/dime back. I feel Edmunds is better off at rover/hybrid/UT and in passing downs I bring him in the box to cover backs or chase down scrambling QBs (Lamar) and put Winfield at SS. You could also put Winfield at nickel and leave Edmunds at SS. He’d be a nice chest piece to keep QBs and offensive coordinators guessing.

RD4b- Colby Parkinson TE Stanford
Vannett is a FA, Gentry didn’t show much, McDonald is injury prone and didn’t have a good year. Parkinson needs work blocking but as a pass catcher uses his 6-7 frame and natural hand catching ability to be a matchup nightmare for defenses.

RD4c(Bell)- Gabriel Davis WR UCF
Big bodied receiver who has above average hands and great RAC yards. Gets off the line well and tracks the ball well. Needs to learn how to sell routes better.

RD5- Benito Jones DT Ole Miss
Grave Digger is all but gone and McCullers likely goes into 2020 as the starter but Jones likely takes that role by year end. Jones is stout at the point, high motor, good inside push. Not Hargrave but considering the limited snaps our DT’s Jones/McCullers shouldn’t be a huge loss unless Tuitt gets hurt for the 5th year in a row.

RD6- Davon Hamilton DL OSU
A guy who came on late in his career with 9.5 TFL and 6 sacks as a red shirt senior. What I saw this year was a lot of double teams on Hamilton and he held his own. Usually wins the one on one matchups. From years past got more pressure than stats as he seemed always a step late. Kind of reminds me of Buggs. Should give depth at the DL at the very least.

RD7- Elex Woodworth OC North Texas
Probably need a backup to a Pouncey and even though I’ve only seen a few games of Woodworth I liked what I saw. Long arms, nimble feet, strong hands. Might not be the biggest but he definitely is athletic.

Round 5 Pick 8: Sean Pollard, OG, Clemson (A)
Round 6 Pick 18: Drew Richmond, OT, USC (A+)
Round 7 Pick 18: Tyler Johnson, WR, Minnesota (A+)

Your Future Picks:
2021 Round 1 Pick
2022 Round 1 Pick

I think I do prefer Fanspeak...

Here's my latest effort:

49: R2P17
QB JAKE FROMM
GEORGIA
102: R3P38
RB NAJEE HARRIS
ALABAMA
126: R4P18
CB LUQ BARCOO
SAN DIEGO STATE
129: R4P21
TE LUKE FARRELL
OHIO STATE
200: R6P19
G JON RUNYAN
MICHIGAN
234: R7P18
EDGE BRYCE HUFF
MEMPHIS

TE better be a focus in round 2

Vanderbilt's TE looks pretty good and some have him going 2nd round. I want a TE too, but we pick at 50, might be too high to waste on a TE

he’s nothing like Barkley. Barkley has elite elusiveness. I don’t think Dobbins has great vision or elusiveness. Ohio State fans think he’s Zeke Elliot but he’s closer to Carlos Hyde who was also big and fast. I’d compare him to Derrick Henry or even Fournette. He can be productive behind a good OL that can open holes, but if you want him to create, he won’t. Henry struggled for a few years while the Titans OL was in flux. Fournette doesn’t create anything.

Dobbins is better than what the steelers have, but I would not go out of my way to get him.

Now Jonathan Taylor of Wisconsin is another story. He may not run a blazing time but he’s a natural RB with vision that can take a crease and turn it into something. My concern with him would be all the carries he got at Wisky.

I’ll take Patrick Laird in the late rounds please

I don't want any part of Hurts. I like the guy as a college QB and he's a great person. However, he's not an NFL QB IMHO.

I would not pick a QB this year any higher than round 4. Only exception would be if a guy they love somehow falls.

I think with this defense, you have to go all in on Ben for at least the next 2 to 3 years and go for a Super Bowl. Help the OL, get a potential 3 down RB, add a WR with speed, and try to get a TE. Although Vance may be enough with Ben at QB.

I'll be looking at guys more in the round 6 range for QB.

I was impressed with the Memphis QB Brady White. He's only a Junior so I don't know if he's entering the draft. He'll probably stay because he's probably a late round guy now. He had great accuracy and didn't get rattled under heavy pressure. Had great pocket awareness and mobility. Kept his eyes downfield.

that first pick....shouldn't that be "curtis weaver"? there's no "chris weavers" on boise state's team.

oh, and i would friggin' LOVE this draft if it played out this way

Yes, my bad. It must have autocorrected and I didn’t catch it.
