Directly below it, it says "illegal crossing apprehensions...." whatever that means. You know, if someone crosses LEGALLY, what need would there be to apprehend that person??

And yet, you brought it up with that graph. We can discuss what we don't know, but what we do know is that there are hordes of people caravanning across Central America to our southern border. We know they have tried to circumvent our laws by rushing the border. We know that some have gotten through. We know that a fair number of people slip in undetected daily. We know many over stay their visas. We know they present a burden to the American tax payer of $115 billion - $155 billion annually. We know this behavior is encouraged through sanctuary city programs, a desire for cheap labor, and **** like that.

So knowing all that, why in the hell aren't we throwing everything we have at stopping violation of our immigration laws, whether it is illegal border crossings or over staying a visa? Why?
