a few backs to consider
-Hampton UNC
- Johnson Iowa
- Henderson/Judkins OSU
-Sampson Tenn
-Moss A&M
-James Oregon
-Mullings

all good sized backs that can easily carry 13-15 times a game or more and help in short yardage

With recent talk that we want to retain Russ and the market might go up to 25 mill and alternatives are Darnold or Cousins I would retain improve the OL draft aperient, or sign Fields 2 years and hire someone like Bianimi to build a system around Fields.
Guys we would to restructure to get a solid #2 wr would be Minkah, TJ,ask Pat, Queen to make a run at Tee or Deebo
AS of now my draft strategy rounds 1-3 is DT, WR, CB/RB

F83 - is English even one of you first 5 languages?

we're better off running a 4-4-4 defense
Heck if we could just go 7 wide I’m sure someone other than Pickens would be open too!

Then it would just be up to the old midget seeing the open guy. Of course all 7 would have to be outside the hash marks so maybe it wouldn’t be too hard to cover with a zone.

Think the D may need a 4-4-6 at this point with how lost the secondary looks

Kansas City tried that on us and got flagged for it……..

Gut the team....start over. From the HC down to our star players. Or....keep our HC along with our current philosophies on both side of the ball.

We all know that there isn't any middle ground. Actually the gutting part we know is off the table also. I guess we will have to ride with...keep doing what we have been doing.

Thanks Rooney!!!

Just give me a new HC and let him pick his coordinators.

I know we don’t always get what we want but that is what I want at this point.

I think the writing is on the wall for Harris’ departure, remember he’s been vaguely critical of Tomlin in the past. Of course we have to see what happens with the offseason moves and free agency but if I had to guess, due to age and salaries, the Steelers will have other needs that push RB to mid to late round consideration. IMO, they should’ve picked up Harris’ option for no other reason than preventing another area of need in 2025.

One thing I feel certain of, we will be sitting here this time next year having this very same conversation.
A lot will be said in the offseason by the organization about how they have to get better here and better there, scapegoat will be fired (Austin), some tweaks to staff but nothing will really improve.
I’m with Slash. Nothing really changes until you bring in a new leader and allow him to hire his own staff and change the philosophy.

We can go 6 wide...that is a hard limit set by Dan Rooney himself. He said we didn't want to appear too showoffy.

Why is Cousins even listed as a possibility? I thought his horse ran tired this year?
