While reading an article about India smashing its heat record,setting a new mark at 51degrees Celsius someone pointed out that the old record was set in 1956@ 50.6 degrees Celsius. And how it was unfair that they never say " in recorded history ",basically about how we have had fluctuations in temperature for all of recorded history.

yep. even in Maryland each night on the news they have the record high and low. sometimes the high is from like 1902.
