I can see him progressing and was definitely targeted more in the Bears game. Bryant seems to just be
a splash player. Can have a great game or make a great play, but isn't consistent from game to game.

For the Steelers offense to be good, you need a #2 that gets you 5 or 6 catches a game, each and every game.

Don't think so... I would agree he could take Rogers job though..

He'll be No. 3 but No. 2 is crazy. Bryant has been getting open on various routes. Ben missed him wide open for a TD on the first play of the game. He had his man by 2 steps and turned on the after burners and still was barely able to his finger tips on Ben's over-throw. Bryant and Ben are close to being back on the same page. Ben still seems to be targeting AB a ton and that may be because he is not getting the double and triple teams he did last year because teams have to keep an eye on Bryant now.

I have ocean front property in Iowa that I am selling too. Most of the scouting reports of him coming out of college seems to be pretty accurate. He MIGHT be able to take over the #3 spot by the end of the year.

Not a chance in hell.

I do not care who starts. It's all about using the players correctly.

If its 3rd and 8, I want a good route runner with good hands over a huge big play type that doesn't run the best routes or has just all right hands because the good route runner / good hands guy are more likely to covert. So under some circumstances heck yes Ju-Ju can become the number 2 option.

I still think we need to call Bryant's number often as he's a real backbreaker type, and Haley needs to use him more like he did in the Vikings game.

Reverse runs, short crossing routes where he can outrun the DB's, etc... easy plays that with Bryant's ability can turn into scores or big plays for a 1st down.

And go deep to Bryant at least 2x a game, but do on 1st or 2nd down and less than 8 yards, please.

My $.02

Bryant stopped running. Probably couldn't see it on TV, but he stopped right as Ben threw it. I couldn't believe he even caught up to it. That was Marty's fault.

yinz must not read the forum, but um

no

I watched the replay I really didnt see Bryant slow down any. Live i thought Ben overthrew him. After watching it it was a good throw. Could he have put a bit more air yes but thats nitpicking. If Bryant is the superstar WR wr say he is and want to be he has to catch it. Not easy catch at all i could see him stuck between wanting to just extend and catch it so he can stay on his feet or diving and catching but given up any chance for a score. Tough catch but one that needs to be made.

Bryant quit on the throw and started running again.

Sorry I'm not impressed by juju. Maybe I'm expecting too much.

Right though his hands. I told my wife he must have had some damn good butter bread on the sidelines before that play, because he sure as **** had butterfingers. THAT one play is the **** championship teams don't do, you make that damn catch. It always seems like this damn team is just a something away. A catch, a tackle, it's ******* infuriating.

It was clear as day. I started screaming he stopped running when it happened. Before he even dropped it. Better watch it again.

Juju is going to improve a lot considering his age. I think we have a clear #2 WR on the team. We need that guy to finish his routes and catch balls.

I did. We had a little argument about it. Maybe slightly to find the ball. But it wasnt blatant to me. Like stopping and then oh ****

I mean I watched it from my seat in the stadium. I know he slowed down, turned around and lookee back as Ben fired then picked it up again.

I don't think he unseats Martavis, at least not any time soon. If/when Ben can stop forcing passes into coverage and start taking what the defense gives him, the world will open up for Marty

7 catches in 3 games is not going to keep Bryant a #2. AB I believe has already had 3 better halves.

Yep, I have no idea what Antdrewjosh is thinking. Byrant slowed down to what looked like a rolling stop. Never do that on a deep ball. And he still should have caught it.

I still think Haley is an issue. Get Bryant involved in the game on easier to complete passes.

Eli only had 21 snaps.

Bryant was off the field for 19 snaps.

Ben doesn't call the plays or pick who is on the field.

I agree with this. He is not there yet but if he can progress I can see him stealing playing time from Rogers come November.

Bryant is a take the top off the defense player and even if he's not getting the ball he keeps the safeties honest.

He turned to look for the ball. He didnt stop running. He found the ball and saw he had to go get it
