I'm not falling for that hype again.
I'm just going to try to enjoy the ride. Expectations low. A little less personal investment. They are going to win more then they lose but are not top 10.
Reminded me of a Steeler great that wore cowboy hats.
Yea, who can forget the preseason hype last year, and then week 1 hit us: slobberknockered out the @ss for an unprepared Tomlin Steeler team. We could have lost by 50. 9ers walked all over us. Embarrassing doesn't even come close to describing it. Word of an undisciplined team and practices flourished all around.

I’m really not expecting much this year. Far too many question marks for me to feel confident this team can win anymore than 9 games.
Very tough schedule, couple rookies on the OL, thin at WR, uncertainty at QB, DL, CB.
All this and yes Tomlin still running the show.
If this team wins more than nine games and manages to make the playoffs and actually wins a game, I’ll be shocked.
I’m happy the season is starting but wished Rooney had cleaned house.
