So many great memories that you gave us. When describing you the words are tough, scrambler, competitor, and winner. Our best QB of all time. You made others around you great that is what elite QBs do. Thank you, I will miss you. Steelernation will miss you.

Ben deserved better from his OL and WRs this year. If they have any pride as professionals, as men, as people who love the game of football and are lucky enough to play it for a living, those groups of Pittsburgh Steelers will play up to and well beyond their skill levels tonight. Send Big Ben off with a competent team around him one last time!

I never forget the one training camp. I knew to get signatures you had to bring unique items to be signed. I started making 8 by 10s pics which always got good results. I wanted a Ben signature so I went online looking for his highschool jersey. Ordered it, received it, took it to Latrobe hoping to get lucky. Can't remember the circumstances but it was said the Steelers weren't going to come out and sign that morning. It happen here and there for one reason or another. Anywho most fans left the area per the news. I stayed little disappointed as I wanted to get Ben's autograph. I was thinking to walk down and watch practice. Then to my surprise BigBen walked out on his way to practice. He saw his highschool jersey and I asked if he could sign it. He said he was in a hurry so walk with him. I did. He asked me to hold his shoulder pads, while he signed. I said no problem. As he was signing ol girl comes out of the restroom area with her camera and takes a picture. A surreal moment. I will get that jersey framed soon. Just one of many great Latrobe memories.

I don't drink normally, but I have a bottle of Patron that needs disposed of from New Years. Maybe a shot per Steeler TD I don't expect to be having many.

I will be Jack n Coke raising my glass as he takes the field.

That's pretty cool you actually got to meet and walk with him. (y)

Well it wasn't breaking bread over dinner. But yep a cool moment. Latrobe evolved into moments as early years you could have some great convos. As the fan base showed up in larger crowds conversations evolved into moments. Still yeah a great memory for a diehard Steeler fanatic. 😉

Thank you Ben. You were the perfect Steeler. Tough. Blue collar. Never quit. You made all the heartbreak since Bradshaw finally seem worth it. You gave us a chance every game. We knew, your teammates knew it. And most importantly, the enemy knew it. God bless the next stage of your life and your beautiful young family. Something tells me staying in the limelight won’t be your thing. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a side note Slash: VERY cool story. Cherish that. Tons of us would kill for that memory 😉

Roethlisberger was definitely crying before the game. I can’t even imagine the emotions.

Thank you #7. The GOAT in my book.

I am sure that in honor of Ben's last home game, the team will get out to a big lead early and we will all be able to relax and enjoy watching the game

You better not be Jen Swane in disguise................!!!

Salute the nation

I'm not sure who ESPMS has doing the coverage tonight, but I noticed Peyton and Eli will be doing their thing and has to be a better option.

Damn I have had a lump in my throat all day. This is hitting me even harder than I thought it would. Wish I was at Heinz Field right now and I would be if my son wasn’t heading back to college bright and early tomorrow.

Thanks for everything Ben. Let’s go out in style!
