That's true, and a good point. When I read the article there was a claim it said he made that "she hit me first!" but you never know until all the facts come out. And he wasn't booked? Something doesn't add up here.

"My client states that there has never been domestic violence in her relationship with Michael and that she has never known Michael to be physically violent toward anyone," Valerie Prescott, Lisa Storie-Avenatti's lawyer, said. "My client requests that the media respect her privacy and that of the parties' young son."

Christine Avenatti-Carlin, Avenatti's first wife and mother of his two daughters, defended her ex-husband, too.

"I've known Michael for the last 26 years. We met when he was 21 years old and we were married for 13 years," she said. "Michael has always been a loving, kind father to our two daughters and husband.

"He has never been abusive to me or anyone else," Avenatti-Carlin added. "He is a very good man."

Now that obviously doesn't mean something didn't happen, but something stinks. He also was pretty sure he'd be fully exonerated after a full investigation. Will be interesting to see how this unfolds.

We'll find out if the Progressive crowd puts it's money where it's mouth is. I personally doubt very much that they will. I pretty much lost all hope of that way back when Trump stood in front of Congress and announced that non Whites had the lowest unemployment numbers in history. Watching all these so called bastions of racial justice sit on their hands and all wearing identical scowls clued me in as to what their real motivations are. Their concerns are focused 100% on political power and 0% on the welfare of human beings, no matter what bullshit they try to spin to the public. The "believe all women" movement won't even come into play here. Alyssa Mylano and Lena Dunham will be calling her a lying ***** by week's end.

Now whether the accusations are bogus or not, I have no idea, but the out and out hypocrisy on the Left is beyond ridiculous.
