There it is...(Garrett lies and plays race card)

No doubt... but everyone has been in a situation where an innocent statement is immediately greeted with a “what the **** did you just say?” Explosion from someone who thought you said something else... that would be understandable but then why wouldn’t that be his story from minute 1

You answered your own question.. cause he's a ******* liar.

The bottom line is Garrett had a pretty mediocre game on the National stage that day and it might have been his big chance to stake a claim as DPOY... he was frustrated and he lost his temper... that can even happen to mild mannered and typically calm guys... everything he did was his own fault...

He needs big time help if that's any of his reasoning. He his words and actions have the look and sound of a *****.

No doubt but im just pointing out he had more than enough reasons to snap without some fantasy slight he probably imagined or simply made up

Misheard? Come on. mR said it or he didn’t. nFL has enough videos, mics, and other **** to pick it up. Also, with pouncey being right there, and having a HC of same skin tone, wouldn’t you think MT would ask him? Did he say it? I’d also think given MR play, and if he did say suck a thing his *** would be on the bench ASAP. This isn’t some star we are going to pamper too like AB. He is currently a scrub, if he said that **** we would flush him.

It's a great excuse for him. If Mason did say something, the narrative shifts, Mason didn't according to everyone except Garrett, so he says that he heard a racial slur and that's why he snapped. It gives him an excuse to hit another person in the head with a helmet.

All I can say is Garrett should be further punished by the league for trying to play the race card to reduce his suspension and justify his actions....it's completely ridiculous. If it happened he would have mentioned it in the post game. What's next......is he going to be the next WhistleBlower in the Impeachment of our President?

even if true, which anyone with a brain realizes it is not, you cant attack someone with a lethal weapon just because he calls you a name could you imagine what would happen to mike mayock if he hit AB over the head for calling him a cracker?

Miles has no place in this league after what he did. he should consider himself lucky if he ever gets to play again.

Had a great game. He was monster all night. Couldnt just be good with that had to rough Mason up at the end which is what started everything IMO

Who didn't see this coming, really? Only thing is, I thought it would come out immediately following the game. A week goes by, and NOW he says something, and to me, that makes it so hard to believe.

That said, it's the times we live in. Seems like people are always in a big hurry to be a victim or to label someone a bigot. Sure there are victims out there and there are bigots. This type of stuff cheapens claims made by actual victims of racism. In 2019 America, Nobody holds that **** back. NOBODY.

"I know what I heard."- Myles Smollett

I guess when you lie and get caught, you might as well ride it out and believe your own lies.

He got no choice but to ride it out. Imagine how much worse it would be for his already tarnished image if he came clean.

“Something” happened out there to set Garrett off like that. We’ll likely never know. His claim of a racial slur seems suspicious, just because of timing. If that indeed occurred, you’d have thought it would have come out well before now, and that SOMEONE else would have heard it.

I knew I should have bet all the money I had he would show his true racist colors and use the race card. Didn't libtards and black people learn not to always cry wolf in kindergarten? I believe almost no one nowadays as much as the race card is thrown around by these racist race baiters. He didn't say anything about a racial slur until he met with the league. What a complete tool! The league better keep him out for at least 16 games or this was just a slap on the wrist.

How about you just call us "African Americans" instead???

I wasn't going to add anymore to this dopey story but...

There is no excuse for the accusation that Garrett has made against Rudy - none. I don't care about the "N" word (Nigger/Nigga) they're both offensive to me and as Vader said - the word will never be eradicated because we're humans and none of us are perfect.

This topic nearly drove me away a few years back and I've grown thicker skin because of that situation.

We play the Bengals on Sunday - how about we talk about that???

How about we just call ourselves Americans, gods creatures and not focus in on color at all?

I call people by their first name, or if they earn it derogatory names not related to skin color...

Their is no "us". There is only an all of us.

Totally agree Slash. WE don't need to attach any race to the term American!

I value your opinion berm, esp on sensitive topics like this one, where it should be taken seriously, on both sides of the ball.

It's not hard to erase words from one's vocabulary. I don't use the N-word or C-word because it offends people, so you will never hear me use them. It bothers me when others throw them out like it's nothing, but we have to communicate better. Learn how to speak properly and think before we speak.

If someone accused me of using the N-word, it would upset me greatly because I know I don't use it. I don't think Mason used it and I'm pretty confident he didn't. I would be HIGHLY ashamed of him if he did knowing who his "brothers" are on the team.

That is what the system of things wants you to do. Cause a divide. So they label as that is where it starts. It is just unhealthy. I don't call my brother African American, I call him Marvin. I don't lump people into groups based on color. It serves no healthy purpose. You are shot bleeding to death? I try to stop the bleeding. i am not looking to see what color you are first. When my family meets nobody brings race and color up. Because that isn't my agenda, nobody at a table I sit at is allowed to make it their agenda. It is just unhealthy dividing ****. Yeah America think someone is your "brother" because they share your same skin color. See how that works for you in an emergency situation. Make it a life choice not to be apart of the divide and you won't be. A good answer isn't I am caucasian or this or that color. A good answer is my name is ________.. let the people who divide continue to do just that and leave me out of it.
