I stayed away from all media and electronic devices to watch the game at midnight eastern time. At the beginning of the second quarter they gave scores from around the league and guess what final score was listed first? Goodell, I hope you die slowly with festering boils.

Lol same thing happened to me tried all day not to see the score and didn't till that exact moment.

Lot of starters played very little. Some not at all.

I am not too worried about the final score.

I would like to see better performances from some players moving forward

these come to mind:

Bryant - hold onto the football rookie
Bruce - more accuracy please
Landry - Looking like a bust to me
Moats - better pressure on the QB please
Wing - Punts that only go 20 something yards will not cut it.
Allen/Mitchell - better angles to the ball
Heywood - Stay in your gap

as a unit ?

O More TDs please
D Better pressure on the QB please

Game one so I will not overreact, only point out where I would like improvement.

I just hope the team is more consistent come game 4................

Thanks guys now i know that will be a waste of time next week. Will just find a stream instead of waiting til the next day

Maybe the "rog" needs to be introduced to Cam Thomas.................... let the festering begin!!!!!

Salute the nation

I believe NFL Network has already done that. They aren't going to to stop updating because some fans avoided the score, lol.

NFL network showed Johnnie all ******* night. Before they re-aired the Steeler game they broke down Johnnie (and his greatness) for a solid hour. They never even discussed another team. **** me.

We need to get it together, the Steelers have gotten no press from the NFL Network or anywhere else, we have been a lack luster team the last two years, we really have no star power, this is what all the sports networks want to see. I hate it but that is the reality,

I bought the pre season pass, but it shuts down when I try to mirror the IPAD display on my tv.

I've been questioned about my age by a few of you on this board, and yes, most likely I am older than all of you. 'cept for Chip, and he, like me, doesn't give a rats *** about it anyway.

Point is, when the game starts, turn on the TV. When it's over turn it off, or to another, non sport channel. Who cares what the talking heads think? Actually, I don't believe they really think, but just read what is scripted for them.

Haven't missed at all watching the pre, pre, pre, or post, post, post game comments for years. When you are older and wiser, like me, and Chip of course, you will understand.
