Game Balls, Game Goats & FU's........week 15.................@Philthy

Im glad you asked. I'm tired of the bitchfest on him.
Wow. So you also don't have confidence in Tomlin actually getting the job done. You do want a change at the HC position but consistently defend him just because of the bitchfest on him. Understandable I guess. Glad you agree with the rest of us though. It was hard to understand someone defending years of failure from our HC daily. The failure being the exact same thing year in and out.

This confidence thing. When I was a kid and the Steelers were winning Super Bowls all the times, I guess had confidence, probably born out of a naivety, figuring this was the way it was always gonna be. As you get older and play and watch sports and more life happens, you realize anyone can get beat at any time. You have hope, but confidence? I'm not sure confidence is the idea. It seems like you really want is a guarantee of success.

I have hope every year they can get it done. I will continue to do so. It's more fun that way.

Game plans go to **** every week. KC is good and very lucky. They've won more close games this season than I can ever remember. Their luck has nothing to do with coaching.

Reminds me of Eucker's comment about Bob Gibson. "Gibson is the luckiest pitcher I know. Every time he pitches, the other team doesn't score."

The trick would be finding a better coach

Sure that could happen
But also might not

I think at this stage the majority of fans are just ready for a new movie to watch, as this one has gotten stale. Cowher suffered the same scrutiny near his end until he finally burst the bubble.

I have pointed out numerous times that Bill Cowher won playoff games with the following as his starting QB: Neil O'Donnell, Mike Tomczak, Tommy Maddox, Kordell Stewart, and Ben Roethlisberger. Only ONE of those QB's would be considered even above-average (Ben of course) and Cowher went 5-1 in the playoffs, including 3-0 on the road, and won a SB with him.

Does any person believe that Mike Tomlin wins a playoff game with Mike Tomczak, Tommy Maddox or Kordell Stewart as his QB?? Seriously?
