Getting pasted this evening 4-0 so far. I'm allergic to losing. It's painful no matter what. This team needs shock therapy. They're looking at those shiny rings at home too much.

What a horrible night ! First I sit through a visit with the in laws. Walk out the door smiling that it's over. Turn on the radio and the first thing I hear is James Harrison is released. Then I sit through the Penguins hitting rock bottom.
Recchi is absolutely abysmal as a bench coach. Players jump over the boards and take no direction to the puck. The wander around like lost children. I get the short shift philosophy but we are more concerned with getting off the ice, than looking for opportunity.. There is no pursuit to the puck.
Dump it in and head to the bench. He shows little emotion and leaves nothing to feed the fire.
Tonight's play was like flag hockey. We hit nothing, we challenged nothing. They played like all they wanted was a 3 day break. They were booed off the damn ice tonight.
Letang needs to go. He has no confidence and it shows. Maybe a fresh start would be good for everyone. That is if someone would give up anything of value for him. Sid is pouting just like he did just before Sully came.
I'm no fair weather fan. I watched the 70's and 80's. You don't win them all BUT you grind every night. We have half a season left and now is the time to shake them up !

Got my parents tickets for last night's game and apologized for sending them to such a dud. They left at the 10:00 mark of the third. I don't know if I would have stayed that long.

Yeah that's pretty much it...haha. I'm starting to feel that way about the Steelers season,but we will see.
Pens are mailing it in at this point. I don't know what it is going to take to snap them out of it.

We stayed to the end, only because so many others were leaving. Been a long time since I've seen such a mass exit at a Pens game. Can't believe I dropped as much money as I did for such a poor product.
yea, usually the last game before a holiday(and at home), the Pens have a good showing, but they owe a lot of people some cash back last night. That was robbery at it's finest. Maybe next time.
Eh even if it's a losing season, I'll still watch.

Even the top teams have their "wtf?" Moments.
This has been a pretty damn good Pens run since Crosby came in.
The core group delivered 3 cups. 2 back to back in a salary cap era.
Cannot complain. They are something like 11 or 12 consecutive post season appearances as well.
My best guess is they're burnt out. A bit of R&R should do them well.
As a fan I want them to win. But I also realize my team may not be in the hunt all the time.
A lot of teams prepare different when you're a defending champ.
It's no doubt the opponent circles their games when it's the Pens.
Enjoy the ride even if it's a dumpster fire rolling downhill lol
Oh, I'm in it until they are officially eliminated from the season. Until then, don't mind me if I get a little impatient and testy. I love my Pens and want them to win and show up, at least. I know what they are capable of and it can be frustrating when they lay a goose egg at home and give up a shorty and Letang is ******** the bed on every other shift out there. I'll still be here through the good and stinky play.
I just don't want one of you guys dropping from cardiac arrest or something cause of the Pens and Steelers lol.

We have a bunch of Division games coming up in the next week. If we don't see some solid hockey it is over.
Slumps are what they are, it happens. It's the lack of effort and boneheaded mistakes by the same guys. They didn't get booed of the ice for losing. They got booed for mailing it in.....again.
I won't stop watching. I will *****, moan and complain when the effort isn't there. What I won't do is drive 2 1/2 hours, pay tolls, gas, food tickets to see a poor product. Hopefully JR rights this ship before it sinks.

We live in Wyoming. Drove to Denver to watch the team have a leisurly skate around the Av's ice. It's only because we can't see them live any other way. Still, it was a very poor showing.
Now, as for anything NFL, screw that fix machine. Done, done, done.

I think we all had an idea this might happen after what they lost from last year but damn. I didn't think they had a shot to win a 3rd cup when the season started, but I sure as heck didn't think they would be floundering around out of the playoffs and playing .500 hockey at Christmas.

People pay good money for effort to win. Not half ***. The players get paid insane good money for 100% effort and not half ***. Just no excuse to do that to paying customers . I agree with the NFL. That **** is just laughable now. Only the blind can't see what's going on.
The Pens will be fine guys.

It's been too noticeable.
Sid has had plenty of opportunities to shoot season long.
He looks for the pass or some tic-tac-toe play.
