Deflate-gate......God I hate the Pats!!!!

you look at spygate and they haven't won a SB since. Harder now as the league is set up as every team being on a level playing field with free agency and the cap.
I think it's possible that they win (some) by cheating and have big advantage at home. When they get to a neutral site they don't have that edge. Like I said, their W-L record and record against the point spread when playing at home is a statistical anomaly. If only we knew an actuary who could better explain the median and standard deviations.

there's not an actuary on this board who's beyond reproach and doesn't have internal moral decay.

I think this is a bunch of BS. The refs handle the balls constantly. If they were deflated enough to get a better grip the refs should have been able to tell. I don't think deflated balls would be high on the list as to why the Colts lost anyways.

dont think that really is the point...Colts were gonna get their *** kicked because they have yet to stop the Cheats from running he ball...happened again yesterday...I think the point is why do the Cheats feel they even need to do something like that ?

I think it was del who did a nice analysis of the statistical anomaly on a past board.

Shoot, you mean there is more than one actuary here???

Come to think of it, if I was visiting coach, I'd be taping the radio during the entire game.
There has been way too many reports of radio malfunctions in critical parts of the game in that stadium.
A non-stop recording (to show no editing was done), would etch in stone the 'hiccups' in connectivity, making it hard to discount.
Of course recording your own radio transmissions might violate some to me hitherto unknown NFL rule... But hey, live on the edge.

The refs did take a ball out of play during the game.

The refs did take one of the footballs out of play for investigation.

All teams do this - Pats Fans.

thats strange all the PM's I get say the board sucks now...because Supe is a Mod..

I get the same ones. I've tried banning that jackass, too.

I think it's pretty telling the NFL will inform Marshawn Lynch he will be fined and not be allowed to play in the SB he wears gold shoes but will allow a team to cheat with the only threat being losing a late round draft pick. Who wouldn't trade a pick for a Super Bowl trip?

As a lifelong Stiller fan I have no love for the Patriots but deflated footballs? Unless the refs only gave them to the Patriots and not the Colts why would this only help Brady and not Luck also?

Apparently this was first reported by an Indianapolis reporter.

Sounds like desperation by a loser.

I Think Tim answer this on facebook for me .. the football is easier to grip in the rain - ALSO if you practice with it and know it is deflated then you do have an advantage

Anybody who thinks they just stopped cheating after getting popped for Spygate is naïve as Hell.

If the ball handler was in on the scam, he could make sure who got which balls. Seems like kind of an elaborate scheme for little potential return, but I wouldn't put it past Bellichick.

Kraft has deeeeeeeeeeeeeeep ties to how the NFL makes it's money. ties to CBS, DirecTV, etc. all very ******* shady.

....and the Rooney's have ties to the White House which are in a partnership with the FCC........

From what they said on the radio, they didn't use them until the second half, game was 17-7 at halftime (With a late FG), then the second half was 38-7. Brady completed less than 50% of his first half passes for 85 yards 1TD and 1INT.

Take note, Each team supplies 12 footballs, home dome team, supplies 12 more for emergency back up. If home game is out doors stadium, visiting team can chose to supply an additional 12 footballs. The team on offense, supplies ball handlers with the balls. Usually do not mix up balls. Ocasionally that happens, but VERY limited.

Can't remember where I read this.

Salute the nation

They don't know the meaning of honesty. Sad, pathetic POS team.
