Tough loss today in a game that was easily winable! How the **** do you only give Jaylen Warren 9 carries with the football in a game that he was as dominant as he was today? What a great performance by Jaylen Warren.....absolutely love this kids heart....he's one hell of a football player and he should be our starting RB on this roster without question! The only other thing that's on my mind right now is that we are now 8 games out from dumping Matt ******* Canada as the Steelers Offensive Coordinator. In the past 3 weeks the Steelers have averaged 183 yards rushing per game and we've seen zero, yes ZERO play action passing plays from this Steelers offense. Combine this with the fact that the Steelers just no longer throw over the middle of the football field and it's all the proof I need to see that Matt Canada has gotta go! Today's offensive performance makes it 10 games in a row the Steelers opponents have outgained the Steelers in total yards. Watching this game was painful to watch but if anyone was paying attention in the 4th Quarter after a 3 & OUT by the Steelers you saw Matt Canada on the sideline sitting next to Kenny Pickett while Canada was talking, Pickett wasn't even engaged with Matt Canada and was staring off in the other direction. This speaks volumes to me that Pickett & Canada's relationship is practically non-existent. The only time the play calling wasn't predictible today was the final time the Steelers had the football with under 2 minutes to play......instead of running the football....Canada called for 3 passing plays downfield and we managed to burn 24 seconds off the clock with 3 incomplete passes all to Dionte Johnson throws all over 10 yards....something we didn't see all day! Not runs on that final drive when the game was on the line was infuriating, especially when they didn't really run any passing plays over 10 yards accept 1 reception by George Pickens for 14 yds on a 3rd & long. The teams identity is running the football....they should have thrown in a run or two on that last offensive series but the Steelers offense went empty set on that last drive....not even keeping a RB in the backfield to keep them honest! Matt Canada is the worst OC in the NFL! I can't believe they haven't at least relieved Matt Canada of his play calling duties. There's no reason for that to not happen....no way Canada is going to continue on as the Steelers OC after this season. I know some people think this is all Mike Tomlin when it comes to the offense but I disagree because we saw this exact same crap in 2021 when Ben was our QB. The only time in 2021 we saw the Steelers offense move the football was when Ben was calling his own plays in the hurry up or inside two minutes.

This was a game we should have easily won vs a Rookie QB making his 2nd NFL start. This Defense always seems to give up the important yards when the game is on the line. I think Teryl Austin also needs to be given his walking papers right along with Matt Canada. If Jim Schwartz was our DC this Defense would be far superior to what we are seeing from a Teryl Austin led Defense. Also why is Pressley Harvin still the Steelers punter? 9 punts today for a 39.4 average including a 20 yd punt in the 4th Quarter.

I'm not sold on Kenny as our Starting QB but he needs to be given a chance with a real OC next season before we render final judgement on Kenny as Steelers starting QB moving forward. I do think he has the potential but after seeing him and Canada together on the sideline today you gotta be blind if you can't see there is a rift there between Kenny & Matt Canada. This loss today makes next Sunday's game in Cincy a MUST WIN game! We can only hope Jaylen Warren gets more than 9 rushing attempts next week in Cincy.

Let me add that the 74 yard TD run by Warren was the longest td run in 9 YEARS! It reminded of the Superbowl XL run by Fast Willie Parker.

I knew if they kept giving Warren carries and got some blocking he'd break a big one.

It's ******* criminal he wasn't in the game on that last drive. You always put the hot guy in. If not for Warren the game isn't even tied.

That's the bright spot I've seen this season. The Steelers finally have a running game again and a RB to lead the way. I'd let Najee walk and give Warren a new contract. The one he has is bullshit and he definitely deserves a raise.


I want all of the coaches gone. There's no way these guys sniff a championship. That's the bottom line.

Although some of you are content with being mediocre for over a decade.

I've never seen quarterback regress so much in a short time. Not when I saw so much more. Something is up.

They have to clear these coaches out to figure it out next year. I hope the hell not, drafting a new qb with this staff in place is a full no go waste of time.

Thanks Chico, great summation. I do want to point out there were a dozen play action attempts made in this game which was surprising to see. However, they were useless because AGAIN there are no slants, crossing or go routes in the middle of the field with this offense. Muth had one, ONE target, and he caught it where? In the middle. I think it’s hilarious that Canada game planned for Man Coverage, but CLE played Zone for most of the game. Lord, how do you not game plan for both? He needs launched to the moon already.

Props to the defense though. CLE game plan was quick passes for the rookie to negate Watt and Smitty, so there wasn’t any down field passes. Oh, also Hochili can eat ****, with his bullshit RTP call on Smitty, while not calling the same thing on Garrett when he slammed Kenny at least twice. NFL needs to bite the bullet and have full time refs. Too many missed calls, especially in the trenches. So much holding on the pass rushes it’s ridiculous. They’ve had a 60% turnover in the past 4 years, there is no way some of these officials a seasoned enough.

What did Cleveland have called in that game one penalty?

Regardless the game was winnable just not with the coaches in place.

That playcalling was a painful watch. The inaccuracy was a painful watch. Their ****** QB trotting down the field late in the game for a win was a painful watch. Not going with their hot RB enough was a painful watch. That shank from PH was a painful watch.

There was nothing during that game that made me think they were going to win it. That is how bad they played...
