It's been 59 years since the Steelers have won in Philadelphia. I didn't have much confidence going into the cesspool of America.....Philthadelphia! Steelers offense really started off slow this game despite Defense and Special Teams creating 2 early turnovers for the Steelers they could only muster a measly 3 points as Philly jumped out to a 17-3 lead. Russell and the offense finally got things rolling as the Steelers closed the score at the half 17-13. The 3rd Quarter was absolutely terrible for the Steelers as they had 1 drive totaling 2 minutes and 2 second before Najee Harris fumbled the toss from Russell Wilson which the Eagles would completely control the clock in the 3rd Quarter for almost 13 minutes, scoring 10 points to put the Eagles up again by 2 Touchdowns with just over 14 minutes remaining in the 4th Quarter. If the Steelers did have any chance it was in the 3rd Quarter where it seemed the Steelers O-line was able to push back the Eagles front 7 and open up some running lanes in the game but all momentum was lost with the Najee Harris fumble which was the beginning of the end in this game.

Defensively the Steelers created a couple turnovers early and TJ Watt had a good game...they did a good job for the most part keeping Barkley in check but when your offense can't stay on the field for any duration the Steelers Defense was bound to wear down. The Eagles really controlled the clock in the 2nd half of this football game as the Steelers managed to control the football for only 5 minutes 50 seconds in the second half of this football game in what can only be described as a complete embarrassment! I hope TJ Watt's injury is not serious.....losing him down the stretch would put a big dent in the Steelers playoff hopes! a 5:1 Time of Possession difference in the 2nd Half was all the proof you needed to see that the Steelers completely got their ***** kicked on both sides of the football today.

I don't know how injured George Pickens hamstring is but without him out there in the starting offense, this Steelers team has no chance versus a quality opponent like the Eagles! I wouldn't expect anything from this offense going forward unless we get Pickens back into the starting lineup. Next up is Baltimore, Kansas City & Cincinnati and without Pickens I don't see this team winning another game. They are too one dimensional without Pickens because they can't stretch the field! Steelers lost the Time of Possession battle today 2:1 vs Eagles.

For as much credit as they heap on Omar Khan for all the good things he does he should take a good portion of the blame for the current status of this offense! They knew in the pre-season that WR was a position of need especially with the injury to Roman Wilson in the pre-season and Khan should have been more aggressive going after guys like Cooper Kupp who the Rams actually had on the trade block after a dismal 2-5 start! All Khan was able to do was make a trade for Mike Williams who has pretty much shown us nothing since he was acquired. He can't even show the coaching staff that he deserves more play time than Scotty Miller or Ben Skowronek. That speaks volumes!

BTW for those curious....the Steelers clinched a playoff spot today......BRING ON THE ******* RATS!

Per Tomlin's Post Game:
Justin Fields - Ab injury that occurred on his hook slide
Dionte Jackson - back injury wasn't able to return
TJ Watt - Low Ankle injury that's being evaluated

Game Balls:
TJ Watt - 7 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble......hopefully his injury is not serious
Calvin Austin - 5 rec, 65 yds

Game Goats:
Najee Harris - He didn't do much out there but that Fumble was a killer!

FU's:
**** THE EAGLES AND THEIR ****** TUSH PUSH! HOMOS! IT'S FOOTBALL, NOT RUGBY!
**** THEIR FANS! THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE FILTH OF THE EARTH!
**** THEIR CITY! **** ALL PHILTHY SPORTS TEAMS AND THEIR FANS!

I was hoping by now the Steelers would have a dominant running game with great above the line blocking, they're not even close.

Doing any kind of play with the RB going east/west is a complete failure most of the time.

So are those short sideline passes.

The eagles Steelered the Steelers by playing keep away the entire second half. Easy win for them.

For whatever reason they can't win in that shithole town. Which is now 59 years and counting.

Good write up Chico, but I can't blame Khan. He does what he can.

These guys need to be coached up. They are not, as best as I can tell.

Sorry to sound bad, but I am so very, very done with Tomlin and his lame game. Say what you want to, but he doesn't get far too much, and is pathetically predictable with is seven plays he allows. So done.

Just done.

Are we going to have a "Who will knock the Steelers out of the playoffs in the first round" contest here?

I'm no Tomlin fan! The guy had the highest powered offense and the best O-line in football for 4 seasons and managed 1 playoff game win! IMO he's the most over-rated Head Coach in NFL History!

Game Ball:
-TJ Watt - excellent play
-Pat Freiermuth - TD was terrific, should've had more targets

Goats:
-Najee Harris - ineffective and an awful turnover
-The toss play - throw it out of the playbook, seriously. It hasn't worked well all year.
-Not playing Mike Williams - why trade for the guy if he's not going to get snaps?

FUs:
-Philadelphia

I thought there was too many toss plays and one bit them in the arse.

Yeah I don’t get Williams but he might just be cooked as they were reaching for something anything when they got him. It reeked of desperation due to not getting someone early when they had chances.

The next game is the biggest of the season and probably will point the team in the direction that their season will tilt towards.

A big FU to the coaches for even calling that stupid ******* pitch play. even when it works it doesn't work.

If Russ has time to sit in the pocket and GP is on the field he looks good, if those two things don't happen he looks not so good. Russ definitely has a skill and if he was on a team that could keep him clean he would probably do well, but come on man how do you take that sack to get knocked out of FG range when every point is precious.

Not surprising
Tomlin is tomlin
Kahn created a hole at wr we all knew that.
Running game has been bottom of the barrel since Bell left
Without a #1wr or Rb we will continue to lose to all but mediocre teams

Boz game ball. That’s all I got with offense. Defense all I got is TJ.

FU’s…….while Arthur Smith has had a few good games,he’s had some terrible ones too. Very inconsistent. I thought today was terrible. And yes the Eagles have a good defense. We needed quick passes. No…not the quick one yard swing out type. More like the 6-8 yarders. A few slants. Middle of the field. Why we don’t use our mammoth TE a couple passes a game I’ll never know. And yes I realize he’s in for blocking. I’m not talking 20 passes a game. Just a couple. TE screen would work with him. Opens up the field a bit.

It really is getting old when we play a game against a good team and we see our Defense toyed with. The long drives against us were frustrating. Our secondary. Man .

We are a ways away from being a contender when it matters.

I think there already was a hole, or do you think drops dj would have helped the team with his ****** attitude and complete disregard for team work? I think he didn't fix the hole properly, not that he created it.

Game Balls: Not much today. Watt tried. Waitman saved 3 w/ a good hold. Muth didnt mess up

Goats: Coaching....Just no clue how to attack defenses w/ a good DL other than running tosses that the RB drops. DJ was getting abused till he got hurt. Terrible tackling all around. We made the backup RB look like Barry Sanders. Tempted to put Najee on here, but he very very rarely fumbles and it was a horrendous play call. Also according the announcers the Steelers didnt seem to be on the same page.

FUs: To the Ravens

I dont get the Mike Williams situation we traded for him but dont play him. He is not the first guy they did that with either. I think they should give him a fair shot not like 3 plays a game. Can not do worse than what we have.

All I can guess is that he must look like hot garbage in practice. What other reason would there be for wasting draft capital?

iron sharpens iron.

the steelers played a Super Bowl contender and their weaknesses exposed. believe it or not, this is a good thing.

the Steelers need to get into the lab and develop schemes on both sides of the ball to mask their deficiencies, especially at WR. The Eagles attacked the Steelers strong side early, Brady pointed that out, and Russ only looked back side twice and hit CAIII both times for nice gains. Apparently, the Eagles noticed that Wilson has a low look rate at backside coverage and went ISO all game.

The Steelers will grow from this.

I'm in the same boat as @Badcat .

We had 3 starters out and while the coaching was not good. Execution was just as bad and the refs slanted the game from the jump.

On to the next...

5 by the time the game ended but yeah. Having you r number 1 offensive option out and your number 2, defensive player out contributed.

Also Larry is a solid run defender which is significant as well.

As I told one person I am not down on the game as bad as some are.

Now if they get all their starters back by Saturday with the same outcome yeah then I will have concerns..
