Penn State had a chance to win.10 wins against bottom of the barrel competition will get you that.
I don’t know if they’ll beat Ohio State Saturday, but I think they’ll show better than Penn State.
They play the Big 10 and have been getting lopsided victories.10 wins against bottom of the barrel competition will get you that.

The Big 10 is very top heavy. A couple of elite teams each year, 2-4 solid teams, then a bunch of competition that is no better or worse than other conferences. It's impressive what he's done at Indiana, just weird there is a new deal not even a full year into his first season. They play the Big 10 and have been getting lopsided victories.
Rumor is he was one more Alabama loss away from being the next coach, not weird at all.The Big 10 is very top heavy. I understand that, but they haven’t played a ranked team yet. Look at their Big 10 schedule. It doesn’t get much easier than that. They play the Big 10 and have been getting lopsided victories.
Penn State's offense was beyond terrible. I think IU will show better offensively, but not sure if their D will hold up.Penn State had a chance to win.
My daughter is a sophomore there. She didn’t bother getting tickets thinking they were in for another 3-9 season. Jokes on her. I told her to make sure she gets tickets for 2025.My son just graduated from IU and my daughter still goes there, so a fan here. He completely revitalized an essentially dead program, so I'm very happy with him resigning for another year. I agree that Ohio State will be a true test of how good they really are. I'm expecting a loss, but hope they keep it competitive and close.
It helps he brought some quality players with him from James Madison. They’ve held up pretty well in Big 10 play. He’s an excellent coach and let’s get real, there is no way Indiana can lure a better coach than him. It doesn’t matter if they lose by 20 to Ohio State. His turnaround in 1 year is miraculous. Even if they aren’t an elite team this year, they’re damn good. They are clearly a top 25 team and for Indiana that is something.
Indiana is actually selling tickets for the first time pretty much ever. They have never in their history been 10-0.
Cignetti is in his 60s. Maybe he could have held out for a top job but it probably wouldn’t have been that much more money and would have come with expectations of an immediate turnaround and championship hopes. He can coach until he retires at IU just by winning 8 games per year and occasionally pushing for a playoff spot.
Cignetti is in reality what Deion Sanders gets credit for via hype.
